Shadow Tag: Ban
Shadow Tag just gives you way too many options while greatly reducing those of your opponents. With Shadow Tag, you control the flow of the battle before it even starts; anything your opponent does is directed by the fact that one wrong move will result in his...
For once, I feel like talking cuteness.
Mega Mawile for A-Rank. She may appear threatening, but don't let her fool you. That naughty smile; that "evil glare" which is actually a playful look; that amazing dressing style; everything screams cuteness. Mawile wants to love and be loved, she just...
Just clarifying here, but what I said is that I consider both uncompetitive, and I never said one is better or worse than the other; I said it doesn't matter whether attacking is more important than switching or not.
I am for a ban on Shadow Tag, but I believe that example/hypothesis/claim/whatever is flawed. A Shadow Grab ability would still destroy choice; where Shadow Tag takes away the choice of switching and leaves only the (bad, if the Shadow Tag user is good) choice of attacking, your Shadow Grab...
Thanks LustKia. In the meantime, I also faced a Gothitelle user. Nevermind the fact that I haxed him with a critical Surf; that thing would have wrecked my face. Not to mention it wasted half an hour of my life. It definitely didn't make my opinion of Shadow Tag better.
Admittedly, I'd like to see some videos with Gothitelle too, since I can't recall seeing one in thirty matches. In general, Shadow Tag is not that abundant in the ladder right now, so most of what I'm gonna say comes from my own Mega Gengar usage. Unfortunately, while I played Ubers for a good...
Lol, don't apologize.
And I can see Deoxys-N working for E-Rank. Deoxys-N is one of these Pokemon that are on a plasmatic borderline between OU and Ubers. They wreck OU, but are outclassed in Ubers. The most it can hit is low D, thanks to the fact that is OHKO'd by 90% of attacks instead of 100%...
Point taken. However, Mega Gengar can also play mindgames with it just as effectively. And without Brave Bird MegaGar is free to get the kill. Defog alongside Spikes isn't very good, I'll admit, but then you're once again at that spot where you have to pick 5 moves for two slots. Let's drop...
Spikes OR Defog, Brave Bird OR Taunt OR Toxic... basically five moves for two slots. And since Skarmory without hazards is almost pointless, at least in my opinion, you have to choose between Taunt OR Brave Bird OR Toxic OR Defog, and unlike other Pokemon, whatever you don't pick can really hurt...
Meh, Skarm really isn't good. It has the worst 4mss I've ever seen, Ubers is plainly too much for it. And with MegaGar on the loose, it has gotten even worse. I suggest a drop as well.
Mega Gardevoir's unique typing is actually a problem as well with Destiny Bond.
What I said was a comparison between offensive sets... Obviously, Xerneas has more sets, but these sets are irrelevant. Do you want me to expand on Xerneas' ather sets? Chances are that you're gonna say "They perform...
You're making a contradiction here. If Sylveon isn't comparable to Mega Gardevoir, then why do you mention Mega Gardevoir's support options? If you mean to say that moves like those you mentioned support Gardevoir in her offensive role, allow me to remind you of this: Xerneas can't utilize these...
