Calculate the max speed (so for Salamence, neutral nature 30-31 IV is 120 Speed) then just level a poke so its speed sits at 119, one under. Catch any that outspeed.

Well it has a story for when I lived in Phoenix. My High school there was named Bioscience High School. I loved that school and in all the schools I moved around from it was the best 2 years I had at a school. When I moved I decided to take my username from that school.
So, Bioscience=Biosci :3

Well I can jump at a height where if I build up some speed it literally feels like I am jmping into the air and moving through it slow motion, and when you do that with a lay up, it is just the most simple of rolls in the air to sink it. :P

The pokemon ranged a bit in time. With Togepi it was roughly 30 seconds for each reset. For Salamence it was 2.5 minutes. Lugia took about 2 minutes. It took me about 400 tries to get Togepi, 300 for Salamence, and I got lucky on Lugia, which was in the 50s.
What I did was I calculated which stats gave me an IV above 20. I wrote these down, and for any poke that outsped my 1-under, I'd look at those stats. If they were good, I'd check them on psypoke's IV calculator, then go from there. It isn't hard to do, but it can take a while.
