    I saw an old analysis from gen 5, I know it's outdated, but I was curious if something like that can be pulled off today. Thank you for detailed answer, exeggutor is such a cool pokemon, shame it has fallen so low. Can you think of any exeggutor set usable in doubles?

    I haven't tried Shift Gear version, but probably it would be even worse, what makes Genesect strong is Techno Blast, high bp spammable move with perfect accuracy, most of the time enhanced by a SpA boost.     I use mine with E-Speed/U-Turn/Iron Head/ Blaze Kick(although Ice Beam would probably be better, but I don't want to waste event move). Hard to decide on item, so far I've been using Choice Band but Life Orb would probably work too(especially with Ice Beam), generally this Genesect seems...
