Mana regen kind of sucks so it looks like champions with innate mana regen (stuff like Veigar), champions that don't need mana (Azir), or resourceless champions (Zed) are going to do well. Also, RIP spell vamp I have no idea what Riot's going to do to Vlad to compensate.

Malz and Vlad are fairly one dimensional but given that someone in power at Riot thought Mordekaiser and Skarner were good ideas I fear what a reworked Vladimir is going to look like.

See, no, that's you backpedaling on not being perfect. You've made some good plays, ok. We all have, regardless of elo. One play won't always win you a game. "Flashy" plays aren't always optimal because of how high risk they are. Consistent play is far more important than flashes of brilliance.

It hasn't started yet. He'll get pulled toward some arbitrary elo when the season starts, but getting to higher tiers now means you get pulled down less if you're above the elo that Riot normalizes against.

If you're going to frame it that way then 90% of not winning is a "personal problem". Swain's kit is very good at beating melees. Swain and Vlad are really good in some matchups, not all of them. They also don't work in every team comp.

I mean, the way I see it mid is the highest level player in laning phase with access to both lanes. That by itself should warrant your mid laner being the best player on your team. I'd say whoever sees more of the map between the jungler and the mid laner should be the most vocal player since...

R > E > Q > W, if you're getting pushed to the turret a lot you can put a second point in W at level 8 instead of Q. RoA is good on him, Tear works on him but I personally don't like sinking 700 gold into non-combat stats. Avoid Athene's, Swain almost has Athene's mana passives on his passive...
