...sorry, man. I don't have a metal coat. Even if I did, I couldn't trade it to your platinum...(as I only own B/W). I'd tell you that it'd be fine if I just got a scyther, but that way I won't be able to teach it superpower...
You can try and find them randomly on the steelix on iron island in platinum, or try to ask someone in simple requests.
