  • Yes I can clone, but now I'm busy with school, sorry. Will you be around for a while so we can trade later?
ok then going in. For a credit or something can I trade it? If not thanks anyway we'll still doing the trade
Flawless shinies certainly take more work than normal pokemon (you have to hit your seed twice for flawless shinies as opposed to once for normal pokemon in HGSS), especially when it comes to ID/SID abuse, which is why I also think they hold more value, but that's more of the aesthetics side. I'm not sure what you meant by the YT or EV training statements, but at least you agree that caught flawless shinies are more valuable (legendary pokemon in particular), especially since legendaries can't be bred, which would've been convenient. You should learn about ID/SID abuse and then you will know the work that must be done. The most important aspect at the end of the day is YOU making the decision of what's a fair trade and what's not, no matter how ridiculous it may seem to others, it's what YOU, SwampertGirl, think.
I RNG breed in SS for flawless, shiny pokemon and it takes about 10 - 30 minutes; this is easy to replicate when I want to breed a different variation of the same species. When it comes to simple legendary capture RNG, you only have one of each species in-game so in order to get a different variation you would have to restart the whole game (or use a re-battle code, which I'm against). This takes too much time and effort so I would consider that captured flawless legendary, even though it's not shiny, more valuable than the bred pokemon. Even if the bred pokemon was non-redis while the caught pokemon was fully-redis, the caught pokemon would still be worth more to me although I might seek the fully-redis pokemon from someone else if the person is trying to ask too much from me. I could talk on about different scenarios, but I think you've got the point: this is still subjective!
Yeah, that's true, but some people have all their shiny pokemon semi-redis or fully-redis. All of my breedable pokemon are semi-redis because it increases their trade value and people would want to trade for stuff they can put on their thread if they desire (I happen to like seeing my pokemon on other's threads, but not treated as low in value - that's why they're only semi-redis). It really depends on how much you value certain pokemon. The topic is completely subjective and complex.
I saw this scenario coming, but since the Manaphy is fully-redis you can get it quite easily. It's a fair trade, but in my opinion the Manaphy is worth more because Alakazam is easily obtainable via RNG breeding. I'm not exactly sure why you make your breedable 4th generation pokemon non-redis.
To answer your question in the SQSR board. It depends on what kind of pokemon are being traded, but usually non-redis pokemon have more general value than fully-redis pokemon. This is the way I see it: non-redis legendary pokemon have the highest value while fully-redis, breedable pokemon have the lowest value. I don't see why some people make breedable 4th generation pokemon non-redis when those pokemon are easily obtainable if one knows how to RNG breed. It's more understandable to have something like a shiny, flawless legendary caught in a nice ball non-redis. Non-redis pokemon have to stand out, be rare, flawless, shiny, and unique to be considered highly valuable otherwise that person is just trying to make his/her breedable pokemon seem more valuable than they really are.
