I don't agree with everything recommended, but it's a good starting point. If you haven't played Okami yet, you need to, though I'd say the PS2 version is better. Muramasa is astounding beautiful and actually pretty fun, though not a whole lot of replay value. No More Heroes 1 & 2 are goofy and fun.
