  1. Rock, Paper, Scizors!

Rock, Paper, Scizors! A Swords Dance Scizor Team (I really hope nobody has already used this title) Overview On my quest to try and make a team loaded with resistances and scarce in weaknesses, I panned out with a really, really crappy offensive team which lost nearly every single...
  2. RMT Dragon Pain Day

While I may not exactly have the exerience to provide the fullest rate, your team has a severe weakness to fighting type attacks. I think I played you earlier today (or at least a team very, very similar to this one) and promptly tore it apart mainly through the use of a Life Orb Mienshao. While...
  3. The Taco Peddler

The Taco Peddler (No, there aren't tacos here. It's just to make you click on this RMT.) Before we begin, I would like to explain that two days ago I re-entered the scene of competitive Pokemon battles. Having not touched Smogon since late 4th gen, my sense of the meta has been completely...
  4. Update to HGSS

Your "In Game" section, although used to be incredibly helpful, is now outdated. All those breeding tables are for naught due to the ever helpful charity of Nintendo. Those great guys working on our games threw us competitive battlers a bone in HGSS by introducing a new added bonus by using the...
  5. RMT- OU Team

I should also point out a Life Orb Heatran weakness. With only Flygon resisting the combination of Earth Power and Flamethrower, if Heatran runs HP Ice, you're pretty screwed. The Shuca on Lanturn helps, but, if caught on the switch, it is easily 2 hit by Earth Power.
  6. First RMT: Eeveelution Baton Pass

Honestly, I would stay away from these chains. I've fought about 5 of them and beat every one with little to no preparation in combating them. Haze eats right through your plan.
  7. Shoddy standard ladder team

Your team has a severe weakness to ground and electric. Anything packing Earthquake and Thunder Punch/Fang/Bolt (mixed sweepers) will run through you. Also, Grass can hit any of your Pokemon for 100-200%. You might want to rethink the core of your team (although I DO like Aggron very much). The...
  8. First Competative team, Help me out

No problem! You really learn a lot from experience, so don't get discouraged if you loose a lot. Try out other RMT teams and try and find Pokemon you like! :)
  9. First Competative team, Help me out

I like that idea. Although it doubles up the fighting weakness with Lucario, Dragonite and Starmie resist fighting while Gengar is immune to it. Bug moves aren't used enough to be all that worried about. The one thing that Umbreon fears in this circumstance is a taunter like Gliscor or a bulky...
  10. Rate my team.

Hey guys, lets just both chill. Pidgey is right. Unless you've had some real nice experiences with Scizor, I suggest switching up the order. It is your team however, Goobie; you decide what works best. As for format, there is an option in Shoddy Battle that allows you to export the team to a...
  11. First Competative team, Help me out

Dragonite: Although Roost is very nice, you need a fighting type move to hit steels that resist claw and speed. Probopass: Milotic is a very good replacement. I would choose a rest talker to take advantage of Marvel Scale. Starmie: If you're using and Expert Belt, run Psychic over recover. You...
  12. The Golden Sun Rises: An [OU] RMT

Thank you very much for the rate. I was getting bored refreshing the page every 30 minutes. I had no clue that I was using 4 choices. There wasn't much of a problem that I saw in battle, but it was rather annoying in many places. I like every suggestion you made and I will test them all out...
  13. First OU Team.

    1. Lead with Swampert. It is amazing, trust me. 2. Drop Heatran for Jolteon. It makes a great revenge killer, can come in on electric moves aimed at Skarmory, and gets rid of the water weakness. Any fire moves aimed at Skarm can be redirected at Swampert later as he most likely won't be killed...
  14. OU Team

You might want to try a Crobat lead to guarantee no stealth rocks are set up seeing as Dragonite and Gyarados are both severely crippled by it (one less sub). Although you won't get the rocks up yourself, you can replace Toxic on Bronzong for Stealth Rocks to set up later. I really don't like...
  15. First Competative team, Help me out

I don't mean to be a spoil sport here, but there isn't enough information to rate your team that well. Larger descriptions as well as the EV's for the listed Pokemon are necessary. In general, though, Ninjask seems a little useless. Passing attack to Lucario is almost pointless because he has...
