you need to multiply the first one by
(rt7+rt5)
(rt7+rt5)
and the second by
(rt7-5)
(rt7-5)
you have to remember to switch the signs, or everything get's screwy
i simply multiplied the first fraction by its conjugate, and the second fraction by its conjugate too.
did you get this far?
