  • 99% of my defensive toeds are specially defensive...252 HP / 68 Def / Whatever SDef / 24 Speed is pretty good. and no it doesnt xd
i'm calcing it at that too lol, maybe the analysis is wrong??? idk haha.

latios should be switching out of gene 100% of the time anyways (unless it runs DD HP Fire like I used to) so you should just be spamming U-turn at that point anyway
with 216 SAtk evs, at +0 Gene does between 83.72%-98.34% on 4/0 Latios, and I want to U-turn as much as possible with Gene and not have to Buzz unless necessary.

    but that's just me xd

gene's evs are never set in stone
It should also be noted that, depending on your team, some EVs can be shifted from Special Attack to Attack to obtain the OHKO on certain threats with U-turn: 68 EVs (with an Attack boost) for Serperior, 104 EVs for Deoxys-S, and 112 EVs (with an Attack boost) for Latios.

    found em haha
I mean i'll try to find the exact Gene attack evs are good, but those are fine as far as being usable haha.
oh yes! 21 HP IVs gives it 201 HP which means it can take 2 Chansey's Stosses (and take 1 Stoss after 2 Subs), you can run a little hp to make it so that you can live rocks + 2 stoss but i dont run that xD.

Amoonguss i just wanted to be more of a mixed wall, those EVs arent too great though looking back. Run 28 Special Attack EVs and 12 Speed EVs. 28 Sp.A breaks +1 Keldeo's Sub with Giga Drain 100% of the time, 12 speed outspeeds most other Shrooms and Reuniclus...you can play with the defensive EVs as you wish, pump a lot of HP always tho.

152 Speed on Gene outspeeds Scarf Rotom W and I always LOVE strong U-turns so I pumped that a lot, you can also play with Gene's EVs (most people like max Sp.A)

idk! the rules aren't out yet, but i'm hoping they'll be the same, just with bw2 tutor moves available. i wouldn't mind another year where they allow ubers, but i think trick room will be as strong as ever in whatever format they choose (as long as it's not something besides doubles)
hey man, nice talking to you again! are you going to any more vgcs, and congrats on doing well with them!
