Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I can see this rapeing my team. Or most teams for that matter. I'd think it could take out a few pokes, but it's only a matter of time until someone makes a mistake and it's killed. Brilliant idea, though, you deserve 3 internets.
I'm not a fan of permaweather, but I think it should stay leagal in OU. It's a legitamate strategy, even if it annoys us sometimes. I think I would use another server if Smogon banned perma-weather.
Thanks, I'll look into tyranitar sets, but I'm hesitant to put something with as many common weaknesses as Tyranitar. Surf and grass moves are pretty common. I'd like a bulky pokemon in that posistion, so tyranitar may be able to fill that role.
Hello and thank you for checking the thread out, as you can probably tell I'm a noob and would like some critique for my first team I've built. I've used it quite a bit but need help with fine tuneing.
It has no real theme but I tried to use pokemon that work well together

The most viable setup I've seen is a fakeout+U-turn quick combo with regenerator. With a high enough speed it makes a great nuisance and can obliterate Pyschic types.
Totally and fully agreed, Sy123. If I buy a 3DS it'll be becuase Game Freak is twisting my arm by releasing a Pokemon game exclusively for it. Hell, I'm afraid I'll miss out on Gen 6 because it's only for the 3DS.
The only good thing about the DSi is compatibility with WPA and WPA2 wifi...
Munna is a total bro. It's bulky, and can use yawn/hypnosis and flash. It serves the same purpose in the game that Snorlax did in gen 1: Stalling and allowing the use of revives and potions on your fallen pokemon during battle. It deserves Mid tier. If I were calling the shots I'd place is high...
Agreed. I'm a noob and I still see scald alot more often than surf. When you're a sweeper it's counterintuitive to trade power for a chance of inflicting status.
Immunity would be the better ability unless he was part of an oh-so-common weather team. Sand Veil gives it a cool dodge factor when paired with tyranitar/other sand-streamer.
Firstly, I'll assume that the next pokemon game will be for the 3DS.
Will a hypothetical 5th gen game on the 3DS be able to communicate with the DS to be able to trade/battle, or will it be the same deal as before where we have to use a poketransfer to take them from Black/White to the new...
