I don't like shooting down your item choices, but Life Orb could definitely receive better usage. Fighting Gem is a lot better of an item. Life Orb just doesn't make sense on a bulkier Intimidate Hitmontop.

With Intimidate and Fight Gem, CC is IMO the better option. Mach Punch doesn't snipe much (esp. w/ Sucker in there) and CC will gain actual hearty KOs.
Yes indeed, very effective if I do say so myself.
And don't listen to what people say. Use Sucker Punch.
