Both Swoobat and Gurdurr would be fine choices on your team even though one is a bit weak and the other one is unevolved.

Just died in my Platinum Nuzlocke. I had already lost Staravia, Turtwig, Pachirisu, Budew, and Psyduck and all I had left was Ponyta, Onix and Bibarel (all level 16) + some random underleveled Pokemon when I challenged Saturn. Obviously she completely decimated me. ....damnit.

I usually don't count it if you can't have Poke-balls yet, but it's up to you really.

Did a fun Scramble with my friend which ended in this.

If items like Choice Band are factored in, I think it can see the damage boost, just not the recoil (again, just my assumption)

My guess is that it doesn't understand that the opponent takes recoil from LO.

I only run NFE Pokemon, but I can use your Poliwag just not the Poliwhirl/Wrath.

Naaaaah. Entei is a legendary and should be excluded from the normal rules. At least that's my opinion, it's up to you, really :)
