The absolute lack of Pokemon that give out Special Attack EVs at the start of Black is very disappointing. Because of this, I had to opt for a mixed physical Samurott in my current playthrough.

Did your Larvesta come with Pokerus? Or did you give it a Power item?
When Larvesta is at a high enough level, you can grind it against the Black City trainers (if you have Black) or the Nimbasa stadium trainers.

Good luck with that. Grinding will be hell after the EV training.
Only problem is, I have only one Ferroseed, and it has a crappy nature (Gentle). That's why I'm hunting for one. I did catch a couple of decently IVed Drilbur, too, and I'm breeding those. -
