Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
And 401 makes you miss...what kills exactly? Celebi and shaymin will take massive damage from v-generate so you wouldn't need to death gambit them. I could see it being useful to take down mew or tangrowth, but a layer of rocks will ensure the ohko on those two anyway. Assuming that you can...
I got this far: Hmm... Lead Yanmega. I don't think it will be running Tinted Lens, but will probably try to Baton Pass the speed boosts to something else.
Watch out for duggies making turning your pseudo 6-5 into an actual 5-6 by switching into Venu's powder. Other than that, the team looks decently solid. I think that some faster teams could give this team real trouble, as the more members you have to sac, the less stable the team becomes...
I support the retesting of Crobat and Hounchy.
Also, the people who have suggested that we need to retest Obama need to either read WhiteQueen's rmt or put down the crack pipe. Your choice.
I have no problem with people refering to their experiances playtesting as a whole, I just think the random crappy YouTube videos and single battle logs are pointless. Also, you said it perfectly when you stated that people sometimes sac Aerodacty to mence, the keyword being sometimes. My...
If I see another battle involving unskilled players trying to prove mence is broken or not, I am going to lose my mind. Anecdotal evidence from battles (if they should be included at all) should be between players playing at a very high skill level. I don't give a crap about some noob...
I also ran lee to great success this meta (although I used the scarf version) and it's amazing how easily he can clean after the ghosts have been removed.
Your argument is flawed because it is easy to invert it. Let's say that instead of me (the mence user) having the burden of needing psychic powers to predict your switch in, the burden is on you (the defending trainer) to have psychic powers in order to determine what move my mence is going to...
All of this arguing about "skill" really is useless. If a pokemon is OP only when in the hands of the most skilled players, it is still OP. Saying "well crappy people don't use mence that well" is pointless.
