here is my thoght process when I build a team.

Thought 1: What Concept do I want to center this team around?

Thought 2: What pokemon can I build my team around? (lets say I pick Hihidaruma)

Thought 3: What are hihidaurma's weaknesses (ground, water, rock)

Thought 4: what pokemon takes care of one of these weaknesses but at the same time supports him? (Picks Cress)

thought 5: ok now we have - ground weakness from the equation but we have added bug, ghost, and dark. Who can help out cress

Thought 6: we have half a team now let's do a team weakness check
so far we have removed ground, rock, bug, psychic, and dark, leaving us with only ghost at the moment.

Thought 7: What don't we have on the team so far? We have a wall, sweeper/scout, and Tank.
So we need a spinner, a special attacker, and whatever else you want

thought 8: Who is a good spatker that won't add to many weaknesses.
Porygon-z it adds fighting which is already checked by cress.

Yeah man there are a lot of people who are on my team that are straight monsters. We play all the time and I say I'm in the top 8 in the group, but we always go back and forth, one person never just dominates. By the way the team I'm on is nothing but Vega players so it's easy to improve. I leveled up so much after joining the team.
