    I actually haven't gotten around to my online play too much currently. I've been mainly playing with my friends who don't have internet. However, I'll try and get around to it though in a little bit of tiem.

    To address your posts in the "Why are you here" topic, I agree that Nintendo's balance metagame understanding is underdeveloped. This can understandably lead to why you prefer Smogon's environment.

    However, I foresee that not addressing this issue will make Game Freak's metagame designer further from Smogon's development. At this point, the official metagame is consistently trying to play catch-up to Smogon.

    Thus, it is best to address this issue by forcing Game Freak's metagame design to change. Smogon should consider the official metagame in their discussions. By creating builds suited for the official rules, I believe that the official metagame will become over-centralized which then forces Game Freak to invest more in metagame balance.
