    I think you are giving away pokemon, because you want to help the entire Smogon community become viable Pokemon trainers., because a lot of people can't do that, because they don't have good pokemon to trade away, for good pokemon. This giveaway gives people somewhere to start, so they can become viable on the ladder. like in my negotiation book, you get sort of an emotional payment from giving away these pokemon, because you see a bunch of once nooby pokemon trainers actually making good scores on the ladder now. while seeing this, you get the warm feeling that you caused all this. And that's a really good feeling, you know? And you might also get a huge power bunnelby.

    Because either he did not know it was hacked, did not know you were not allowed to trade hacked stuff, or just didnt care. It's not really that uncommon for people to accidentally offer hacked stuff.
