I landed on my Target Delay/Seconds again. I had a Target Frame of 7 so I called Youngster Joey 3 times in order to advance 6 frames to hit my Target Frame of 7, but the egg I got is NOT shiny. I checked RNG reporter to see what I actually hit and a frame of 7 would indeed give me a Modest Piplup, but it's supposed to be shiny. What happened this time?

Okay, but the only thing that is messing me up now is the frame. Is there any way I can tell what frame I'm on?
I did resave, but now I'm going for a different Target Delay/Frame and I changed my date to what the real date is.
It turns out I chose the wrong gender ratio to begin with, but still, I had the same thing happen to me again - although the gender was right (potentially) the egg was still NOT shiny. EV training for LC is too much of a hassle to me.
Nevermind, I got it, but the same thing happened as my other attempts: I landed on frame 7 once again. I think I should choose a higher frame from now on or something.
Bad timing to be offline zack. I hit my seed a 4th time and the same crap happened; I hit my seed a 5th time, but now I'm using your method. I have the same Target Frame of 3, I called Elm to verify my seed (it's the right one), and I already rejected one egg. The daycare man is waiting with the 2nd egg. Do I reject it or accept it? Remember, I want to get on Frame 3.

Lol, you should spread it around so you may eventually see your name all around Smogon. If you want to do this, then a giveaway is a great idea.

Perhaps that's a better idea. So I just reject the first 2 eggs and then take the 3rd right? I'm worried that someone will call me before I get the 3rd egg because that screws up everything.
Well, either way I have to do it over because if I stopped, then I'd have to hit my Target Delay again. If I didn't stop, then I'd be where I am now - saved on Frame 7 (just a little more work). I need to get rid of his number. I think I need to go for a higher frame of 7 because that's where I always end up lol.
I hit my Target Delay again, but Joey mentioned something about catching a Rattata then battling. I think I'll try your method now -_-

I tried to consistently get a Seconds reading without mashing A so that I could adjust my speed accordingly should I need to.
I haven't tried very much since yesterday. Hopefully I'll have time today - I already beat down Youngster Joey though so I'm good to go.
I'll have to read on about RNG catching in SS if I ever manage to RNG breed first.
