I've had this on for over a year now, but this avatar is obviously celebrating the life of Super Mario Maker 1, which is my 2nd favorite game of all time (with Mario Maker 2 being my #1). The interesting part is... Weird Mario doesn't get the builder costume, I actually made that sprite myself! I had to apply the shadows myself too because none of the "sprite sheets" had that effect. I did this by putting Mario on some clouds, taking a Switch screenshot, then counting the pixel shadows lol

i will forever mourn the loss of Weird Mario with maker 2. my final time playing mario maker was to upload a level specifically built for Weird Mario and it got 40 favs. my gaming peak
