Nominating Scizor from UR to C/C+
Very much agree. Scizor threatens most of the tier with 2hkos with lorb bullet punch and the high usage of tera Fairy on sweepers, along with its amazing ability to take hits, forces a switch often enough that SD can be clicked at least once per game. It feels especially strong in combination with the fast sweepers that can weaken its checks, Mewtwo and Moon being two good examples. It's also great into stall and Balance, with its Steel-type, setup options and access to Knock Off meaning it can always force progress. Some calcs to show what I mean:

252+ Atk Life Orb Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tera Fairy Spectrier: 424-502 (124.3 - 147.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Nominating Scizor from UR to C/C+

During my suspect run Scizor was absolutely a core member of my team and contributed to many wins.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 224 HP / 252 Atk / 32 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Close Combat

This was the set I was using, and Scizor is absolutely amazing to revenge kill threats like Spectrier, Roaring Moon and Landorus. I was using this alongside ESpeed Dragonite, and together they weaken the opponent’s team for each other or another teammate like my own Roaring Moon. Scizor does have bad matchups into Arceus Electric, Gouging Fire and Tera Fire Mewtwo. Despite this, Scizor owns HO squads lacking these Pokémon, and even with these Pokémon they have to play carefully and keep these Pokémon relatively healthy, especially if you have another priority user like Dragonite or Arceus

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Technician Tera Steel Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tera Fire Mewtwo: 204-240 (57.7 - 67.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Technician Tera Steel Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Arceus-Electric: 160-188 (41.9 - 49.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Did someone say new VR update? Well here you go! Featuring a lot of changes + adjusting the D tier to fit the approach taken by ubers, meaning many pokemon once ranked D will now be considered UR, or C- (Eg, Bronzong, Smeargle, Ogerpon). D tier will now be reserved for Pokemon that are UUbers by tiering, not taking into account banned moves/abilities from OU. Pokemon that have a defined enough niche to be ranked will be placed C-, and all others will be considered UR and not appear in future iterations unless voted to be ranked by council.

Take a look at the voting sheet here!

With the latest shifts settling down I am here to report on what I believe to be the number 1 winner (and by extention a potential rise in a team archetype) that results from mainly Spectrier leaving the tier. While Spectrier was itself incredibly strong on webs, its presence limited the potential of other pokemon that could themselves be successful on H/O structures. Obvious winners are Pokemon like Roaring Moon and Dragonite that now have more chances to set up (and as an aside no, spectrier leaving will likely not change the power of priority in this tier imo lol) but the biggest winner by far is probably Annihilape, and by extention webs.

annihilape.png
Annihilape has always been theorized to be a powerful part of webs but never was able to capitalize on its toolkit, currently finding itself in C+ on our VRs. Occasionally popping up with scarf sets, its best results typically came from its Bulk up sets, which out of necessity were forced to run a lot of special defense and a less optimal tera type like Poison in an attempt to punish Spectrier from getting greedy with drain kisses while also being able to "take" a shadow ball. However with spectrier gone, Annihilape can now take advantage of other key parts of its kit on webs, mainly its ability to take advantage of Giratina in a way few other webs sweepers have been able to. I don't think its set changes too much, but I think the changes that do happen are really big in changing a lot of notable interactions.

Annihilape @ Leftovers
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 52 Atk / 208 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Rage Fist
- Drain Punch
- Bulk Up

Being able to run more speed comfortably (these evs are to slightly outpace jolly Gholdengo which naturally outspeeds deoxys under webs) allows Annihilape to leverage its natural speed far more effectively then it was able to before, being able to outpace far more then it was able to before with webs up, including Gholdengo itself - who is incredibly valuable on webs. Being able to run Tera Fairy lets Annihilape entirely shut down every common variant of Giratina, leaving its opponent stuck trying to out offense it in a similar way to CM taunt arcs who have to manage the CM war, or many strong physical attackers that can break through them before the damage ramps properly. Annihilape also has an aspect that sets it apart as one of the main Bulk Up sweepers we have, meaning it can give H/O staples like Roaring Moon, Gouging Fire, and a well managed ape can threaten Ekiller arcs as well due to the power and effectiveness of Taunt into these naturally slower sets. It still has vulnerabilities to powerful special breakers like Landorus, and it does rely on tera so it will naturally become more priority weak as the game goes on. I believe it finds itself filling the skill check role that Spectrier once did in a potentially more devastating way when managed well, but managing it well itself requires much more skill on the user's behalf.

Ultimately i'd probably put this B+ given my current view on the meta.
