Hey, sorry for the long delay - I'll be hosting our next week again. Congrats to the winners of our previous week!
Your sets will be added to our Hall of Fame! This time, we'll be covering a much-hyped starter that ended up not making the splash many assumed it would in SV; however, as the generation has progressed, this has creeped up more and more as a niche pick able to find value in its high Speed tier, supportive disruption options, and ability to quickly snowball out of control. Can anything slow down the regal Pokemon, Serperior?

The ability to click Contrary Leaf Storm will always make Serperior a viable threat in OU, but its limited coverage even with Tera Blast means that it's often unable to break certain threats - Tera Electric is a good midground to many of its offensive options, giving Serperior coverage to take on Flying-types while Leaf Storm devastates the Ground-types that would then threaten it in return. Substitute punishes Toxic users trying to put it on a timer, while Dragon Pulse deals heavy damage to the Dragon-types that can take on both Grass and Electric. Alternatively, Leech Seed can be used to synergise with Serperior's already annoying Substitute and Leftovers combination, gifting Serperior more opportunities to snowball with Leaf Storm while also giving it a chance to try and stall out even the most defensive stalwarts of the tier. What can safely answer this resurging threat?

If Sun is up, then Earthquake becomes a guaranteed OHKO against Terastallized Serperior and Close Combat becomes an OHKO against both pre- and post-Tera Serperior.

Poison Jab is run over Toxic here to prevent Serperior from hiding behind a Substitute and stalling Clodsire out with Leech Seed. It can also potentially 2HKO if Serperior doesn't Terastallize, which is nice.
