:Seadra: :Tinkatuff:
A little bit of spiciness with this core. While Tinkatuff has long reigned as a contender for arguably the best Pokemon in the tier, Seadra has been on the wayside until last year's NFEPL. Seadra covers Tinkatuff's vulnerability to Ground-types (Gabite, Piloswine) and Fire-types (Pignite, Monferno, Raboot) and provides pivoting for bad matchups. 16 Speed EVs outspeed Pignite, discouraging two consecutive Close Combats after its Eviolite is knocked off and also having the nice Poison Point. Meanwhile, Tinkatuff is EV'd to avoid the 3HKO from Life Orb Thwackey's Wood Hammer while having a small chance to avoid Choice Specs Frogadier's Hydro Pump, all after Stealth Rock. Ice Beam and increasing Speed and Special Attack EVs on Seadra can discourage targets like Thwackey and Fraxure from coming in on it at the cost of some longevity and not really having a fourth move (Clear Smog maybe the closest to prevent Calm Mind attempts from Clefairy and Duosion, and prevent Wartortle from setting up)
Seadra @ Eviolite

Tera Type: Water

Bold Nature

Here's the team:
:vigoroth::naclstack::quaxwell::koffing::dusclops::sliggoo-hisui:

Thanks for joining everyone, cya next month

Let's start off with some classic goodstuff. Ignore the fact that prunyy !randpoke'd my second mon.
:zacian-crowned: :koraidon:
It's no secret that these are some of the most consistent 'mons in the format. Both as physical attackers in a metagame that doesn't have a ton of Intimidate or physical walls, it can be hard to handle a physical onslaught throughout the course of a game. Let's be real, there's little to say here, this is just a tried and true set of 'mons in AG - pretty bread and butter, nothing special here, but it'll serve as a solid cornerstone for a pretty standard team. Maybe you might consider ZacC not like, part of the "default 6" or whatever that means, but hey, it's not like it's a gimmick either.

:hatterene: :necrozma-dusk-mane:
Hatterene Necrozma-DM is one of the newer cores discovered in the metagame. The main idea is to allow Necrozma-DM to hold a different item than Heavy-Duty Boots, while Hatterene can ward off Ting-Lu's Spikes or various hazards from suicide leads in the metagame. In this case, Necrozma-DM uses Covert Cloak in combination with Dragon Dance to allow it safe set up against Ho-Oh, which would otherwise threaten burn against it with Sacred Fire.

Calyrex ice and gastradon is a anti kyorgre core which my team struggled with before now the classic ice beam calm mind and water spout is counterd by this stray gastradon existence brings scariness to kyorgre by having storm drain so now when calyrex is on the field they click water spout so gastradon comes in and becomes a beast hitting hard if get hit by ice beam mirror coat can make kyorgre turn into a orgre that's dead and gastradon your opponent is not going to think of countering so gastradon holds assault vest so it can survive a grass move that's not physical and calyrex ice holds choice band so it can hit as hard as possible when it gets a boost say goodbye to any of opponents your Pokemon and that's it

:kyurem-white: :hatterene:

Kyurem-W, despite not being the best fit for most teams doesn't relegate its explosive 170 base Special Attack, unresisted STAB, and formidable coverage options that suit almost any scenario. Combined with Choice Specs, and Turboblaze, Kyurem can break through most balances and even some stalls via a Tera Ice-boosted Ice Beam. However, Kyurem has trouble entering the field and start breaking, as well as being extremely weak to Stealth Rock—both of which Hatterene excel at managing. Despite being a newer discovery in the metagame, Hatterene allows Kyurem to negate hazard damage via Magic Bounce and provides a safe switch in through a slow Baton Pass, letting Kyurem enter the field and nuke anything standing in front of it.

Thanks for submitting everyone! Poll is up in the UM Room. To those whose cores didn't make it: sorry! While fun cores are appreciated, please make sure to post cores that are actually usable in the metagame.

Also, gentle reminder to include sample sets for your cores!

:araquanid: :annihilape:

Araquanid and Annihilape currently represent the core of one of the newest trends in the current Ubers UU meta: webs. Araquanid is the premiere webs setter, utilizing its decent typing and special defense to live a hit and set up webs. After setting up webs, Araquanid can either reduce the opponent's speed, attack, or health with Pounce, Lunge, and Liquidation, respectively. Mental Herb is used to shake off Taunt.

Annihilape is the new set up sweeper of the meta. Without Spectrier threatening him with Shadow balls, Terapagos to Toxic him, or a Ditto to steal his boosts, Annihilape finally has his time to shine. Using Bulk Up, Leftovers, Drain Punch, he can raise his stats and the power of Rage Fist until he can one-shot most mons in the tier. Webs allow him to outspeed other mons by slowing them down, and Tera Fairy protects him from Psychic and Dragon type moves. Annihilape is even good in the mirror match-up against other webs teams because Defiant allows him to get attack boosts off of the webs slowing him down.

For an example team, here is the one I use on ladder.

:Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: and :Magearna:

Urshifu-R is a decent Choice Scarf user in Ubers UU due to its excellent signature move, pivoting in U-turn, priority in Aqua Jet, and solid offensive typing. Surging Strikes’s guaranteed critical hit chance allows Urshifu-R to break through defensive sweepers like Cosmic Power Arceus formes and Zamazenta-C.

Urshifu-R pivots, allowing Magearna to switch in safely, wall special attackers and Psychic or Fairy types that threaten Urshifu, and either set up boosts or pivot with Volt Switch to maintain offensive momentum.

Calm Mind alongside Shift Gear allows Magearna to boost both Speed and power, and with its nearly perfect typing and amazing bulk, it becomes a deadly sweeper.

Stored Power accumulates strength as Magearna grabs boosts, meaning it becomes super-boosted and able to power through Psychic-resistant checks like opposing Magearna, Dialga, and Mewtwo.

Magearna appreciates support from Pokémon that eliminate Dark- and Steel-types that prevent its sweep with Stored Power; in turn Magearna can wallbreak for those Pokémon, making a powerful partnership.

https://pokepast.es/ec8f9465e78a14eb

Every team has a dragon response, whether it's Gira, Mage, a defensive Arc, a fairy Tera... Doubling up dragons is a tried and true method of breaking through defenses, simply pushing through defensive checks that can often stand up to one, but struggle to check two. I like to use RMoon as a breaker, relying on Dragonite towards the end once a team is mostly broken through.

https://pokepast.es/17cffe34d5fb3c9d

Potential new take on the palafin iceus duo that used to see some use. Idea is pretty simple, my mon which tina switches into clicks pivot and wow look its iceus ready to nuke smthing. As this is the idea I reckon itd be better as a mamo coverage offensive iceus (felt like modest for going all in on this but timid's prob fine) rather than a less immediately threatening taunt iceus.

:sv/lokix: :sv/Giratina:

Mandatory Lokix Glazing!!!!

Whenever I make a team with Lokix, I always make sure to include a Giratina. Lokix is a very strong and potent revenge killer, capable of taking down many threats that you can't simply Tera out of, thanks to Tinted Lens. However, Lokix struggles alot with dealing with Arceus due to its Plate and amazing natural bulk. This is where Giratina comes in, being able to bully all the Arceus forms, (besides Ice, but nothing beats Ice so). Lokix and Tina both don't particular enjoy Mags presence, but both of them wear Mag down to the benefit of another teammate. Finally, while this set doesn't include Defog, you CAN use Defog to help alleviate Lokix's hazard issue
