Solar Wind

The stream of particles that causes auroras. The wording is meant to parallel moves like Blizzard and Heat Wave. However, the term wind is somewhat misleading here since solar wind isn’t wind in the terrestrial sense. For that reason, you can use "wind" in the name and be justified for omitting the wind move flag.

Heimdallr's Call

Heimdallr is the God in Norse mythology that is most commonly associated with Gjallarhorn which could be used in a sense as a "call" to change transform Ramnarok to it's true potential.

Twilight Horn

Continuing with the Ragnarok basis, "twilight" is derived from the similar old norse word Ragnarøkkr, meaning "Twilight of the Gods". Additionally, the Aurora Borealis is often observed in the evening and at night, tying into the second form's aurora design. I reworked the name based on feedback from the Discord as well as the fact that it was accidentally similar to a previous submission.

Gjallar Bleat

Gjallarhorn + Bleat; Gjallarhorn is of course the horn of Heimdallr that signals the beginning of Ragnarok in Norse Mythology.
Bleat is the typical vocalization of sheeps, it refers to not only the slightly weak and high-pitched cries made by sheeplings and ewe but also the deep guttural roars of rams (male sheeps). It also sounds like a mixture of blitz and beat, alluding to the strength and speed of Ramnarok's transformed-forme.

Boreal Bellows

Bellows are a device used in metallurgy to provide air to fuel to increase the rate of combustion. When one fans the flames they increase in intensity much like how CAP 36 receives an immense boost in offensive prowress. The association with flames and metallurgy ties in both the typing of the move as well as both the primary and secondary steel typing of CAP 36's base form. That the bellows provide a burst of wind could also loosely tie in the ice typing via some sort of northerly wind assocation, but this is obviously much weaker.

To bellow also means to make a deep loud sound. I feel with the look of CAP 36 it would make fairly deep sounds, especially in its base form. Originally I remembered discussion around this move being sound based so this stuck around in my head, but many other submissions appear to also be sound based so I'm pressing forward with it.

Boreal is chosen to fit with the northerly theming of the design and to more strongly tie in the ice typing. It also provides alliteration which is always fun.

Aurora Flare

"Aurora" is already in the names of Ice moves Aurora Beam and Aurora Veil, supporting this move's chance to freeze. (Also note that this Pokemon's transformed form is blaring out auroras.) "Flare" is a form of fire and is already in the names of Fire moves Flare Blitz and Max Flare. "Flare" is included to make this (more) firmly a Fire-type non-sound non-contact move.

Frosty Radiance

I chose the name because the move transforms Ramnarok into it's radiant form and this move is both icy and fiery

Spirit of Ymir

According to Norse mythology, when Muspelheim, the realm of fire, meets Niflheim, the realm of ice, the giant Ymir was formed. He is considered the ancestor of all frost giants. Spirit is also synonymous with fire in terms of having immense energy or enthusiasm about something.

Heralding Horn

The custom forme name vote was extremely close. "Herald" barely lost out on defining one of its forme names, I think it'd be good to use that word for its custom move name instead.

"Herald" means to be a signal for something to happen in the future, and has been used to describe this Pokemon frequently. "Horn" is of course there for alliteration, and because Ramnarok would use its head horns to execute the move.

Coronal Blast

"The user's horns unleash a brilliant, searing burst of apocalyptic power, stunning all who behold it into frozen stillness."

A "coronal mass ejection" (CME) is a significant ejection of plasma mass from the Sun's corona, or the outermost layer of its atmosphere, and is often associated with solar flares as well as the solar wind that creates auroras. I went with "blast" instead of "mass ejection" for a more concise and evocative wording in part because it also invokes the blast of a horn, like the kind that heralds Ragnarok.
