I need peoples opinion on this

As a korean I am privileged to have the ability to be able to watch a variety of crazy good kid shows in my language that nobody that's not korean knows about; especially with the ones with robots and transformations and all that crazy good stuff (yes I am aware that I am a decently aged person watching kid shows)

Theres only one problem with these korean kid shows and it's not necessarily their fault (at least I think): there english dubs are absolutely ATROCIOUS. They suck. I cannot STAND to hear the English dubs of any Korean kid shows. I also cant stand whenever somebody claims that the korean version is worse than the english one because of the overexaggeration of the words or whatnot.

To any other koreans out there I need to know if its just me.

The English dubs for non-English media are very often terrible because nobody involved really cares or is willing to spend a lot of money on it. You see this a lot with the Japanese media that I'm more familiar with, too: The English voice actors are inexperienced and amateurish, and the voice director doesn't really give a shit, and nobody at the company cares because they know any English-literate viewers who hate the dub are just going to watch the sub instead.

The problem with that is that English subs dont exist for these shows
other languages also have different syllable counts/talk speed so if the studio is unwilling or unable to edit lip flaps, even excellent VAs have to work with unnatural phrasing and pacing and sound like shit
for most of the shows I'm talking about for English the dub is just played with the original video so I have to watch the characters mouth korean while the audio is english it just looks and sounds bad

As an English speaker, yeah, that tracks. Subbed over dubbed for me at least 90 percent of the time. Pokémon is arguably the only real exception to this for me and that's mainly because Old Pokémon Voice Acting is peak and because the Japanese voice acting industry is a surprisingly messed up place from what I've heard over the years recently. I would like to imagine that the Korean voice acting industry is hopefully not nearly as the Japanese industry is or has supposedly become. Voice acting isn't exactly in a good spot here in my home country of the United States either, but that's for completely different reasons as well as all of the recent controversy with AI playing a part in this as well. (Me personally, I think I'd be okay with people stealing my voice, on the condition they don't make me say anything insensitive and disrespectful.)

Also, since I have no idea where else to ask this, is real, authentic Korean barbecue as good as people make it out to be?

yes

The dub voice acting I hear from the shows that I talk about, If I was living in Korea and understood english i dont know if i would've mind. But as someone fluent in English and living in the Us they sound atrocious.
Another thing: for some weird reason whenever I try to watch something in Korean on youtube they for some reason switch the audio track to english, so when I play the video I get hit with a female voice mistiming the audio and speaking in a monotone voice.
