Yeah it does fall in the same category unfortunately even if it is less viable than the other nu "megas." I'm sorry guys, apparently I must have been tired when I made that list because I missed a few things. This should hopefully be right now though :totodiLUL:

Edit: Since DBD was already using it and since hera is really only technically nu, we are going to include heracross too.

MR. PRESIDENT GET DOWN (Specs Obama)
:abomasnow::flamigo::altaria::bronzong::incineroar::kilowattrel:

justclickblizzard.jpg
Click me for increased aura and theme music

In SV (before it got replaced by a9) obamasnow would set veil and maybe support some snow guys, but it is so outclassed in that role I wanted to try something else with it. In gens like oras, abomasnow is a nuke with killer coverage, but its rocks weak and slow so its easy to revenge kill. Great if it can click but it doesn't usually have the best time getting hits off. I want to try it out in more of a wallbreaker role taking advantage of it's high base power stabs and great coverage move in earth power. Here we are using a specs set with terablast ghost for bronzong. The team is built to position abomasnow to click: flamigo & incin bring in physical walls (and bulky waters in incin's case), and kilo brings in ground types. We are also rocking the incin set that EQs other incin before they switch out, weakening them for obama to click its stabs. Altaria is our removal of choice and good fighting check for obamasnow. Most of the team is fairly standard but built to support and bring in obama to click!

Sableye Hazard Stack
:sableye: :gligar: :vaporeon: :flamigo: :scream tail: :copperajah:
i thought sableye could work as a spinblocker in a hazard stack setup. most of the tier's rockers and spinners are quite scared of wisp. and that threat allows it to get many free knocks onto enemy boots and the like, and force a lot of progress. the rest of the team was built around setting up the hazards and abusing them somewhat. ive got little teambuilding experience atm but really enjoyed giving this a try. the tier doesn't actually have that many dark or fire types so prankster wisp is very potent - of course incineroar is a problem. anyway sableye is very funny and actually ended up carrying several games. here are some replays to demonstrate that:

another very nice replay :D

Glalie HO
:glalie: :scream tail: :chandelure: :kilowattrel: :drednaw: :overqwil:

This is just ordinary spikestack HO, but with a glalie lead. Not much more to really be said...

:pmd/glalie: This is like extremely shitty version of froslass. Spikes+taunt means you can beat other hazard leads while getting up your own, freeze dry means mons such as flygon cannot switch in, and foul play can stop physically offensive mons such as copperajah. Inner focus can be cool for those fake out mons ladder loves to hell and back...

:pmd/scream tail: Standard scream set. Loves spikes to chip its checks into range.

:pmd/chandelure: Spinblocker for said spikes, colbur berry allows chandy to always take on tsareena, and also trade against incin very well.

:pmd/kilowattrel: Defog detterent, +2 life orb kilo is a nuke. Tera blast water beats rhyperior, while endeavour can bring a wall down to low HP.

:pmd/drednaw: Physical sweeper of the team, honestly didn't do much in matches, so uh, maybe replacable.

:pmd/overqwil: Second physical sweeper of the team, standard set and good check to munki.

CB Flamigo and Defensive Venusaur
:Flamigo: :Venusaur: :Flygon: :Vaporeon: :Bronzong: :Incineroar:

I decided to make a balanced team mainly around Venusaur. Flamigo is the premier wallbreaker spamming its power stabs with Choice Band while scarf Flygon is main speed control since the team is really slow. Venusaur, Vaporeon, and Bronzong are my defensive core as they handle many wallbreakers with wish support from vapo to make sure they aren’t in low health. Incineroar is the last member of the team as it handles Chandelure while being a setup sweeper for late game.

Heracross Offense
:heracross: :bronzong: :vaporeon: :flygon: :tsareena: :munkidori:

I noticed that Heracross was missing from the original list of allowed Mega evolutions that LTTM posted, so I decided to build with it as a Guts breaker. The set is standard, with Tera Normal Facade nuking everything that CC or Megahorn can't. Bronzong and Vapo are the two pieces of the defensive core, as well as providing Rocks and Wish support respectively. Tsareena is offensive here to force progress against Boots users as well as remove cheeky DD Flygons and the like, while DD Flygon is here to act as a threatening physical sweeper that really appreciates Steels like Bronzong and Grasses like Tsareena being gone. Finally, Scarf Munki outspeeds most of NU while having good power with Sludge Bomb and pivoting opportunities to Hera on its checks.

Zard Moth Veil HO
:charizard::cinccino::ninetales-alola::decidueye::drednaw::frosmoth:

Charizard's unique typing combined with access to Belly Drum makes it a potent sweeper that fits right at home on Aurora Veil Hyper Offense. It's joined by a multitude of other sweepers that have strong defensive and offensive synergy with it. I also used this team in a video with aim and Rabia!

:charizard: Charizard :sitrus-berry:
The star of the team. I gave it the classic Belly Drum + Flame Charge set so that it can boost both its Attack and Speed to exceptional levels. Acrobatics is a high-powered STAB that combines well with the held Sitrus Berry, and Earthquake provides coverage against opposing Fire- and Rock-Types. This is further bolstered by Tera Ground, which guarantees the OHKO on Rhyperior and provides a timely Rock and Electric resistance.

:cinccino: Cinccino :loaded-dice:
Cinccino is a must-have teammate for HO teams that want to run Rock-weak pokemon like Charizard, thanks to its hazard clearing from Tidy Up. It also pressures Rock- and Water-types with Bullet Seed.

:ninetales-alola: Alolan Ninetales :rocky-helmet:
Alolan Ninetales provides veil support for the team, helping all of our setup sweepers tank an extra hit. Encore also helps lock down Defense-boosting opponents like Iron Defense Bronzong that could prove troublesome for our majority-physical team, while Rocky Helmet helps out a bit in the matchups against Cinccino, Scyther, Flygon, and others.

:decidueye: Decidueye :spell-tag:
Decidueye ticks a lot of boxes for this team: It provides strong priority, a solid switch-in to Wetbull, and in this case, packs pivoting with U-turn. This helps position Charizard versus Grass- and Fire-types for easy setup, while dealing massive damage to Wo-Chien, an increasingly common counter. This ability to lure Wo-Chien is also incredibly helpful to its next teammate...

:drednaw: Drednaw :white-herb:
Drednaw is both straightforward and effective as a sweeper, and helps overwhelm defensive waters like Vaporeon or Swampert for Charizard. Not much more to say other than I believe that the best coverage for non-Tera Blast sets is Rock/Ground/Dark.

:frosmoth: Frosmoth :leftovers:
Rounding out the team as the team's main special attacker, Frosmoth benefits from Snow's defense boost and Cinccino's hazard clearing, enabling it to run a bulky set with Leftovers. Substitute allows it to dodge status from the likes of Bellibolt and other walls, while also scouting for an opponent's Tera. It synergizes well with the team's ability to wear down Steel-types, and Tera Ground can flip the matchup against OTR Diancie and turn it into setup fodder.
