delemon ty for building for me most of this tournament sorry I could not win more...
I played really badly this tour, 4-3 is like fine in a vacuum but imo it's the worst tour I've ever had. Sorry pults for losing last two weeks when either of those wins would have gotten us into tb. lot of this season I just think was my fault, both as a manager and as a player. probably should not managed this year but I sorta went into it while overestimating the amount of time I would have available.
decided this a while ago but this is probs my last teamtour, at least for a while. will be staying on as C&C mod for at least the next few weeks at the very least but definitely not gonna be doing qcing and stuff. will also finish up all the tours I'm hosting across the site b4 I leave yada yada
might come back for pl next year if the grass only looks greener on the other side. outside of that probs not much to say. probs not gonna manage again bc my limitations as a manager became incredibly clear to me this tour.
gonna focus on other things. the people who need to find me can probs figure out how to after I leave cord in a few weeks.

I think it'd also be cool to write a post about my awesome team, it was my first PL and it was extremely fun! although I do wish I won the games I lost, I'm still very happy with 5-2 for my first PL :D.
ok now I'm going to thanks everyone on my team individually (not individually that would take too much time I lied)
First of all, huge shoutout to my managers delemon and bellchime for helping me build, supporting me, and giving tips which I am 1000% sure helped me win the games I won (and do better in the ones I lost)
The 4-1 gang: (kry, lolebruh, bellchime (bellchime gets two shout-outs unfair I know)
we were the 4-1 gang by the end of week 5, but sadly none of us could end it x-1. you guys played well! (It is at this moment I knew that I should not have written this idk what to say
The BW jail: (bolt sapphire and mcthelegit sorta)
wanna know who did go x-1? BOLT SAPPHIRE. CLUTCHING UP WHEN WE NEEDED IT. Good job my goat!
legit escaped jail eventually and started playing some solid SV games and, although we couldnt win 1v1pl together, let's go for ndampl at least :)
The SS jail (Bern and longrat)
I'm sorry you guys couldn't play the tier you actually mained, and I hope you guys do better next tour and play some SV!
Longrat you were also in bw jail rip
Mubs (Mubs)
Although you didn't have the greatest start to the tour, you brought it back a bit at the end. I know you'll have a better tour next tour!!
Aldrich (Aldrich)
At times I forgot you were on our team but ur still goated so it's ok

very greatly disappointed in myself. i make no excuses for my performance, and i am very sad i not only went negative, but went negative when i claimed to be motivated
claimed is a pretty funny operative word, though. i think i am frankly very burned out. i will still be around for ss and natdex tiering decisions and stuff, but i cant in good faith continue to engage with tournaments at present when i so obviously do not enjoy putting time into playing or building the tier
i greatly apologize to my teammates, who i consistently let down when we needed those wins, and especially to driplegend who ive always wanted to team with and i ended up going out with a fairly pathetic record compared to my last performance
this isnt even close to the last post i will write on this site regarding 1v1, of course. im making a super resource for swsh 1v1, my personal vr, a video to accompany said personal vr, and going to see what should be tiered in natdex, updating samples, updating vr, etc. i just do not find it remotely enjoyable to actually play or build 1v1
ill probably be back for next pl, but i do desperately need a break and its about time i acknowledge it. i really did like everyone i teamed with this time around, so hopefully i can run it back with as many as possible in full prep and motivation mode and get the win
twopeats are definitely cursed. shitpost aside i honestly didn't even expect our momentum to completely shift in the latter half of the season and even get a chance to tiebreak for playoffs lmao. this time of year was probably the worst time to play 1v1 ever but i have no regrets about including myself in it again as i always have fun and this year was no exception even if my efforts were mainly spent elsewhere! with the preamble out of the way i have to shout out my lovely team of course :D
Freddy Kyogre idk when youre gonna open this site again to read these but you're a really chill dude and even if u didnt play u had good vibes. sorry u didnt get the channel this year tho :( blame radu.
One Last Kiss vamos ekipo!! my number one hype man glad we got u a game this year even if you didnt get the dub it was still fun having you around again :D
LpZ this season didnt take off as much as last years but it's nice working with you and i always feel confident in your ability to show up and get shit done. 2-5 record twin :D, hopefully u stick around for wc bro it's fun seeing you pop off whether it's here or bw pu
Pokemh glad to have picked you up as well and you definitely carried a lot of the grunt work of the season with grabbing replays when i was busy which was always helpful as hell. i hope you can get more chances to develop in this tier i feel like you have some traits that could aid your success and i would vouch to any managing pair in the future to give you a look!
DannyDoritos i know this tour didnt go great for you (i can relate LMFAOOO) but even if you weren't snagging wins u were still great to have on the team and helped sanity check a lot of stuff between me and zo and sometimes thats all people need! i know you have a good tour in you one of these days and im gonna keep dragging you with me until we strike gold so hold on for the ride.
SEROO your energy is insanely contagious and every time i got pinged in your channel i had both the feeling of excitement and dread seeing what you and part came up with each time LMAOOO. you kinda embodied our comeback season in your own record, going 1-2 into 5-2 is an impressive feat especially considering the oras pool was pretty decent this tour. it's always fun getting to watch you have such a distinct style and seeing it convert into a good record/season was one of the secret highlights of this tour imo (unbiased obviously.).
Havocknight (nooo not the namechange back estra was heattt :c) anyway we were kinda picking names up towards the end of auction and i was like what the hell theyre cool we should get estra. what i didn't expect was how committed and serious you were about picking up the tier once you had the chance to start after ss2 didn't start the way we hoped originally. you really gave it your all to learn the tier and had a lot to pick up as a pilot, and you worked your ass off to get back up to speed and snag some great wins! i loved the work ethic/mentality you had and it was an unexpected bonus having you go positive and help us turn the slot around. hope to see you playing more! and hope to keep getting you for 3k what a steal
xdRudi.exe the funniest part of early tour was you somehow still having perms in our manager call and joining like "when are you guys getting me btw" LOL. we expected to get you anyway but u really put the pressure on with that, and shockingly people didnt take you as high as we thought at all! you did well even tho i had you reuse an ungodly amount of times so i thank you for putting up with that, don't think your season wasn't great because of the ending shit happens and tiebreak might've been a big promo for you too soon. it's always fun teaming with you and hope to see u sweat olt again this year (and hopefully scl again).
zo i knew going into this tour i wanted to save you from a "taiwan draft" and did we end up becoming taiwan after buying you? who knows. but it was nice finally getting the chance to team up with you after all the times i've been snubbed out of it and i appreciate the faith you had in us to deliver. even if we didn't it does feed the ego a bit to have someone deny a retain for you, and even if your record doesn't exactly show the effort you put in you really workhorsed both ss slots and im grateful we had you to contribute so much for us. you definitely earned a break after this tour so live it up on the bench for a bit! hopefully we get a tour together where im less busy and we can both clutch up in times where we didn't previously.
Vertigo speaking of finally teaming with you jesus man it's been so many drafts since i showed u around this tier from the start and i knew i couldn't let you go AGAIN. you had the clutch gene where i couldn't this tour and you eased a lot of my worries about not showing up as much because i could count on you to lock in (even with no prep LMAO). same as tenzhii, i hope i can give you a better supporting tour record than this one but it was worth the wait of teaming with you <3, hopefully get the chance again in the future friend.
RADU despite the ups and downs this tour i've been able to learn a lot managing with you these past years and made a lot of memories with you! idk it still gives me a weird feeling how close we've been able to get starting from u begging me for teams (WITHOUT FRIENDING ME ON DISCORD BTW.) at the beginning of sv to us just shooting the shit whenever really. HF being employed now loser LOLLLLLLLLL can't believe you got a j*b before gta 6 what an insane timeline, but glad to have rode this year out with you as well even if we didn't go as far and were both busy it was still fun and i don't regret begging u for the repeat.
Yooo it's your fav retired user here, damn there's 0 engagement in the 1v1 community of 2025. Sad LOL.
Teams that didn't make poffs below, thank you @ for turning my post into the nicest post ever :3
8th – Rhyperior
Rhyperior finishes as the last seed and misses playoffs for the first time since its franchise debut – pretty wild. Honestly, I thought the old gen core had potential to be a playoff-level team, but the SV draft felt underwhelming, which led to some role shifts that hurt the overall cohesion. Not much adaptation either, which was surprising given the experience in the management. I did expect more flexibility, especially when Dreepy was struggling. An early shuffle to get Urf out of SV seemed like a logical move. Sometimes the veterans have off tours – it happens – but not adjusting mid-season definitely sealed the outcome.
7th – Barraskewdas
Another franchise missing playoffs for the first time – crazy. I think the team lacked that tight-knit cohesion and consistent activity. I trust Close and Lia's draft instincts, but maintaining team engagement felt like a weak point. Ncal was a strong addition and clearly helped on the activity front, plus he had a solid tour. Kala continued being reliable as always. Unfortunately, their top buys didn’t pan out. Mish locked into an off-main tier, and Blanched had major internet issues all tour – tough breaks. 10k Mentality stayed benched most of the season and struggled in his few starts, and without veteran guidance, his support value wasn’t fully utilized. The draft had a promising structure but the final player choices needed more research and synergy.
6th – Dragapults
Back-to-back OGPL champs not translating that success to this stage – maybe the pressure was too real. Let’s talk about the big buy: 23.5k on Mubs. All respect to him, but with limited recent success and activity concerns, that price felt steep. Not spending that much could’ve freed up resources for more depth. Thankfully, Kry and lolebruh delivered as always, and uWu had a breakout tour – great to see. On the flip side, Bern thrown into SS with little prep + Longrat and Mc too while Lumi was busy felt like questionable choices, especially knowing the team lacked strong in-season activity. Just not enough cohesion, and it showed.
5th – Thwackeys
I originally thought the draft was mid, but the team honestly surprised me. Still, key players like Driplegend, LPZ, and Zo underperforming was a major setback. Overall, this was a well-rounded but not star-studded roster. There was no real carry or experienced tutor to push the team further. It followed the classic "good enough to compete" formula, but lacked the edge to actually contend for a championship.
We're out of the tour and that means it's shoutout time. I'm going to make an effort to keep this short but you know me, it won't be.
in no particular order, horrors.
A Hero's Destiny what a name to start on. You were the reason I started taking ORAS seriously and it was a joy building for you and watching my vision come to life. You were the backbone of horrors with your performance and there's nobody I'd rather leave the final tiebreaker to. I hope to see you around 1v1 more, not just in tours but in the community and maybe even building some teams and shit.
Cow MY GUY you were an absolute fucking joy to be around. The energy you brought was top tier, and I really appreciate you for stepping in and winning the week that I had to tap out. I'm sorry that our roster was so stacked that we barely got a chance to slot you, I would've loved to properly teach you 1v1 and get you invested in the game and community. See you in world cup? :swad:
My dearest old ass friend Iron Crusher there's very little for me to say that you don't already know, I love teaming with you and I'm glad we got to experience this together. I regret not being able to help BW nearly as much as I'd wanted to but it's always a joy watching you click and play and build.
TGK MY GOAT NOTHING FOR ME TO SAY OTHER THAN MY GOAT. Seriously though you know I love gambling with 3k pickups and I'm really glad I saw something other managers didn't see, we may not have won PL together but you've showed the world that you matter and this won't be your last success story.
Mada the world didn't get to see a lot of you but I appreciated the few conversations we got to have, hope to see you next tour.
Nick I'll be honest I barely knew you going into this tour and would not have picked you up if lost heros didn't suggest it, in retrospect I'm so glad he did because you were the driving energy behind horrors in the first few weeks and just overall an incredibly chill guy. Also you brought a durant so you're my goat
Opchurtle100 you were busy going into this tour, we knew that picking you up, but your occasional effort backing up BW did not go unnoticed.
Frailty records don't tell the whole story, you were drafted in an incredibly turbulent portion of your life and although things took a hell of a lot of time to stabilise for you I still watched you grow back into a spot where you could be proud of yourself. People are going to look at you and think of your past self for a while but all horrors know that the new frailty is a thousand times more awesome than the old you.
Tricknology I loved your vibes with AHD, sufys, and Cow, it really brought life to the team. Some people are only going to look at how your games went, but I encourage future managers to take my word here and believe that SS is an incredibly diligent builder and was often the first to finish his prepwork with quality teams. Pick this guy up, you won't regret it.
happysh absolutely based retain, you brought a consistent backbone to both our play and our building that made it easy for the team to feel at ease. You may not have won every game but you brought a stability that rippled through the whole team, and it's been amazing to see your improvement since last PL.
kolohe you were a victim of my fake self-confidence and should've ended up playing during at least one of the few weeks that I convinced myself that it was a good idea for me to play. It's been a pleasure having you on the team still, you bring a wonderful energy to any conversation and I just love being around you. Money well spent
rumia MY GOAT YOU STEPPED UP WHEN I COULDN'T PLAY SM AND YOU SMASHED IT MY GOOOOOAT
sufys you were another victim of our 14 player roster but having you consistently around in the many scenarios where subs were maybe needed was a huge help. Knowing there's a guy like you who can sub in a pinch and click well if provided good teams means a ton.
This shoutouts post isn't complete without a shoutout to lost heros and to the horrors in general. It's not an exaggeration to say that you all got to see me at my lowest, with lows so bad that I physically couldn't play the game in my worst week. Especially lost heros got to see a lot more of it privately than the rest of the team and supported me through shit I couldn't have made it through alone. Thank you lost, and thank you horrors, for putting up with a 12.5k benched self-buy. I hope my building made up for it.
Before I go on to "others" I need to do an honorable mention. This tour wouldn't be the same without OhioGengar who supported us since week 1 and is honestly just as much a horror as the rest of us.
bellchime you encouraged me to manage and served as my rival, you also incidentally stole Mubs from me which led to me having to build for AHD and falling in love with ORAS. We discussed strategy from the day of our signup to the last day of the semis tiebreaker and I couldn't have done it all without you.
On the topic of oras, torterraxx although you only got here in the last week, I talked to you about oras a ton during this tour and really fuelled my enthusiasm for the tier.
And recti you had a rough tour yourself but the moment you joined horrors it felt like a breath of fresh air. My biggest regret this tour is not managing to draft you because I was saving money for a Mubs I didn't even buy. Thanks for teaching me a thing or two about 1v1.
I don't know if I'll play world cup, if NEU needs me I'll step up but I kind of want to focus on myself for a while. Although PL has been awesome, I've had too much on my mind and let those things slip a little bit while I spent many hours a week building. Not only mental health, but also other facets of 1v1 that I just didn't really have time for while trying to build usually 2 but sometimes up to 4 slots. I only ended up building SV one week which really isn't cutting it as a council member so I'll quietly catch up with the meta there while hopefully restoring my activity in administrative matters. You may not see public-facing Felucia for a while though, I just need time to myself and it's about time I properly take it.
Disappointed that we couldn't win and even more disappointed with my own games...But this tour was prolly the most fun I have had on this site. Huge thanks to both lost heros and Felucia for trusting in me
Also a huge shoutout to all my fellow horrors.Y'all were the best and I hope we get to team up again sometime
I would also like to post something to thank the team.
It was the biggest honour to be able assist a team like Hyperspace Horrors. The team atmosphere, the players, and everything else was just perfect. It never felt like a rigid team just drafted to play, but more as a family that supported each other throughout the course of the tournament.
Huge thanks to Felucia and lost heros for giving me the opportunity to help them and the team for this tournament. It was indeed a lot of fun hanging out with the Horrors, building teams alongside them, playing testgames with them, and overall having a jolly good time during the seriousness of the tournament.
Also shoutout to all the players on the squad, those who lost or those who won, they gave their best each week to help the team progress throughout the tournament. Their efforts were the reason they were able to get this far into the tournament. It was a huge honour to be able to help these amazing players throughout this PL journey.
Even though we were not able to go all the way to the finals and even win the tournament entirely, it was a wonderful journey up here to the semifinals of such a prestigious 1v1 tournament. I may not have been able to play, but helping out this amazing roster was an even bigger joy to me, to support them until here.
This won't be the last time of mine, a passionate player in this wonderful format of 1v1, as I'll be looking to reach new heights and even represent Asia in the upcoming 1v1 World Cup. This Gengar isn't done evolving!!

no worries we will win it together next year
we got this gosy!!!! (if i get drafted that is :p) also thank youu!! for trusting me this pl lost herosFelucia
also i got to learn a lot from all of you guys it was a awesome team environment and lovely interactions with all of my dearest horrors!!
