so much for "not building many teams solo" lmaoooo, crazy how being out of school and unemployed works.... I severely underestimated how much motivation I would have to play PL after being away for like a year and also underestimated just how much time I would have. sorry to the managers who passed me up because I said I wouldn't have the time, that's my bad

Indi01 gorilaa thanks for the carry goats!!! Between the two of you there were only dropped 3 series?!?? Turns out it's really hard to lose when you are up most weeks 2-0 and you have a free 2-0 in the tiebreak. Thanks for saving us when I dropped the ball in semis tiebreak - enjoy the custom you two hella deserve it after these incredible performances.
stravench thanks for all the support, emotional and pokemon related. You helped immensely when I had a couple weeks where I burned myself out a bit and when I was busy "winning money playing scrabble" and "seeing my grandparents" instead of building more BW teams. trace's regular season run was practically impossible without some rotation of builders
trace I've said all I can say in teamchat already but I had a ton of fun this tour and having someone reliable in the BW slot to show up and win helped a ton. sorry about the sm semis sacrifice...

NTG Cuz IDK thanks for stepping up and playing oras, you did great!! your last minute building had me nervous at times but the results speak for themselves. thanks for teaching me the tier and congrats on a great season
LRXC CLUTCH KING LRXC!!!!! you awoke in playoffs and went super saiyan in prep and then used only teams you didn't build in finals LMAOOOOOOOO. hope this PL win is a nice birthday gift, hope you don't mind it was a couple days late

we had over 30 players in the teamcord by finals and the energy there was really good, esp when someone was playing and everyone talked in vc it was really nice to see a bunch of people sharing the same interest being together, i wish i had this kind of friendships irl
sorry to my team for not winning more than i should have done, this tour i learned suprisingly more than i expected to learn going into it, special thanks to delemon for supporting me, Potatochan Mishlef Kaif luser crucify for being such inspirational people to be around.
i dont want to yap slop abt how everyone in the team helped bc i feel like its a little useless when i can just say like-
a really big thank you everyone on the team and everyone who supported us for helping and or playing, even if you didnt help much your presence was no doubt appreciated. this tour has been one of the best team tours i have had, and will certainly go down well in my memories as nothing but simply enjoyable. Obviously I'm not happy w/ how the tour ended but I can't say it wasn't fun. Teamcord was probably the best one I've been in and the vibes were immaculate. Even outside of the draft we had a ton of cool people helping out. I was definitely a little miffed being slotted into ss and not sv, but honestly near the end w/ glitched bo_bobson27 Potatochan luser Mishlef helping the gen became pretty bearable to build. Everyone on the team had their moments and seeing stuff like bea clutching the tiebreak or glitched winning ss7 in semis was magical. s/o glitched LittEleven for being great managers and supporting in slots that aren't even their main gen(esp sv).
see you next pl no i am NOT playing world cup and east will get dmv. might enter a quirky indiv if i have time.

bea You honestly went through an entire character arc this tour. Even though you didn't end up winning vs Indi I think you learned a lot. Learning to put ego aside took a lot of introspection from you and I'm impressed you grew as much as you did. Despite the teams not working out this week, I'm glad you went ahead w/ prep instead of solobuilding for the series. Ik you probably feel bad about spamming my dms nonstop but I did enjoy discussing building/playing mentality asw as farming playing you in test games. I think you have what it takes to reach the next level fs so gl in wc!
glitched thanks so much for dealing with my bullshit in ss holy shit I would not have nearly as much success w/o you. Derusting from cg was a wild ride and I'm so grateful you took the time to help me w/ building as I was crashing out. I know you had a tough performance this tour but honestly its impressive how much time and effort you put in given the circumstances. I honestly did not understand why you and litt bought me for 13.5k this tour but turns out trusting the process works wonders.
eblurb thanks for saving our sv highkey. Even though you didn't sign up you still contributed a ton and I think your insight as a player was really important, esp w/ the g5 tiebreak squad save. I think you helped me realize a lot of my bad habits as a builder. You're also just like one of the funniest people i've met through 1v1 and the teamcord would not be the same without you.
crucify i learned a ton from you abt 1v1 and how to approach games. You're really knowledgeable about managing and playing and i wish i got to play for one of your teams(unfortunately my dumbass got banned).

What an absolute ride.
Words aren't enough to express my feelings regarding this PL. I still can't believe all of this is real but here we are. This PL run wouldn't be possible without the team that made it all possible.

Indi01 you carried that SV7 slot. Absolute unit since the previous PL. This may be one of the greatest runs I have ever seen of all time possibly rivaling zio's megaray's run. Seeing the teams you post in the cord and just being in awe of the sets and how they just work lol. Since the beginning up until now, I'm so glad and thankful that you said yes to being retained.
gorilaa genius in that SS7 slot. Literally made a team with eeveelutions and was so solid I struggled to find any 3-0's LOL. You were so reliable because we literally could have put you anywhere and we knew you could have made it worked. It was a fun having you in SS and the knowledge you have within 1v1 was crucial for us.
Itchy possibly the unsung hero of this run. Covering multiple slots at once, helping with the practice games, helping me make some crucial decisions that were vital to the team, you did ALOT. You were so reliable and one of the best teammates to have.
trace don't be down because of the last 2 games but look at the games that you won which we really needed to score some points to go into poffs. Amazing clicker in conjunction to the stuff itchy and I were building.
NTG Cuz IDK called themselves washed and look at this lol. Our first stint in heatrans, you were slotted late into the season but you showed flashes of what you could do. You went all out this time and you did amazingly!!!
prunyy hey we have the same record LOLOLOLOL. I like the enthusiasm that you brought even when I slotted you in a gen that you weren't really familiar with. I hope you enjoyed SV by now. You were a great presence during Gogoats and the same could be said here in Heatrans.
LRXC my friend. You kept the cord alive, you brought the hype and was super clutch in the finals!!! It was fun going into your live streams and each time you saw my name you ask about Heatrans. You made the environment happier and motivated

Me and Frosty were drafting together and I just gave him the names that I wanted and bro was able to get them like how tf. We first got Mr Home Depot for a steal, then found a way to get gorilaa, then itchy, etc. I don't think I could have the same draft if not for Frosty.

Self Reflection Time. I did poorly this PL. The SS cup winner struggling so much in the tier is :P. I got no excuse for that. Im just happy that I finally managed a team into a win to end things with a bang (goodbye to managing for atleast 2 years) and finally get a CA LOL (no more ace trainer snow?). IRL stuff were also starting to catch up to me by this point but I think I did enough work in the background to be proud. Still feeling alot of emotions but I am truly honored and thankful for everyone in Heatrans.
I think I can say it now, Heatrans made History.

Losing this PL was tough. I truly believe we were the best team at our peak, but we didn’t play like that this weekend.

To the team - I hope everyone involved can look back at the past 2.5 months as a positive experience despite the ending and use the learnings to grow and evolve as players if they compete in future tournaments. I was impressed by everyone on the lineup throughout the tournament and I know you guys will get your chance again.
and special thanks to eblurb who despite leaving about 1000 times carried sv and more importantly spent countless hours w me and Litt in the TFT vcs
On ORAS - probably the worst version of the tier I've ever played (its just a radu tiering classic). "zard-less" lost its novelty for me after about a month (obvious from my usage) as the tier is fake centralized around victini and gengar -> force true 50/50s every game XD? I would just go back to the ORASLT meta w lax atp man
