AAA National Dex Almost Any Ability

So, after playing a while, some things need to banned for a happier overall play:
- Serene Grace and flinching moves (toxic as all hell).
- Two of the same abilities at once (eg. two Regenerators)
- Primordial Sea and Desolate Land (makes all other weather futile)

What do you all think?
Personally (while I didn't play too much of NDAAA), Serene Grace+Flinching moves never seemed to be that common, but I completely agree that 2AC is broken. No, I do not want to have to face a stall matchup (yuck) that has two regenerators- they are good (and annoying) enough already to not need that extra help.
W the primal weathers, they are strong BUT it means that you can't use weather sweepers at all besides the one w the primal weather (and if they are THAT common, use Cloud Nine/Air Lock/ Just ban the abilites that were made for freaking legendaries)

I think the primal abilities in themselves are not overwhelming but I appreciate them being in the meta bcz them existing means weather based teams don’t get used as much, which is a positive trust me, you don’t want to face Chlorophyll or Swift Swim Ogerpon, it’s a freakin nightmare in the teambuilder otherwise
 
Gm, as the resident 6-1er of NDAMPL's 35 Pokes, I've been meaning to drop all of my AAA stuff for quite a while now, featuring teams from this tour itself all the way to slam playoffs which I also won.

If I had to completely honest up until the open itself I had grown fairly bored of the tier due to how I personally viewed the defensive meta as being rather cut and dry in terms of building. fortunately though the exciting nature of the later tour sets I got dragged into as well as being invited to play regular SV AAA in OMPL itself was enough to spark some of my newfound curiosity upon returning to it, which leads me to the present and where I can say that surprisingly enough, I'm pretty happy with some of the ways the tier looks to be developing in ways that are seperate from other AAA metas in particular, as can be seen with the increased innovation of regenerator cores extending to previously non existent supporting mons as well as a greather emphasis on creative pacing to help supplant the tier's various z abusers and breakers. lastly, since LordBox loves to bother me for this type of stuff I intend on making some of these teams sample submissions.

Special shoutouts to O1V7O2X9O and Kayzn in particular for trusting me with building and for all the effort they put into piloting throughout PL, hope to team with either of you guys again someone down the road. :heart::heart:

:ferrothorn: Much like great tusk I'd say for sure that this is the most consistent and integral defensive piece in the meta. Its hard to punish and gets insane value in every MU between its endless utility movepool, regen, and typing into the shitload of knockers and meta defining breakers.

:walking wake: Following up on my wake post from before I think the knock off stack style structures are pretty powerful and consistent but quite well contained to a degree that player skill is heavily emphasised. the gag ban notably helps a lot in this regard, breathing new life into defoggers such as corv, fini, and zap in particular. also worth experimenting with to break these teams includes future sight strats with crown and slowbro, taunt usage on things like gliscor and heatran to punish overly passive mons, or just by throwing the big breakers like moth and lele into it until the cookie crumbles.

:zamazenta: Not a fraud, speed tier is excellent and band is still pretty dangerous as a coverage demon, even the regeners don't like sor CC when backed by hazards and potential setup from howl + z-moves or clam. just not conventional to fit on a lot of a backported structures since its pretty limited defensively, but still immensely dangerous with a lot of variety if positoned well.

:mew: Now, what I will personally say. This mon is definitely a fraud, its pretty flimsy defensively between its lack of resists, 4mss, and overeliance on statuses to check a lot of stuff that setups on it which I don't find a recipe for success on the more bulky offense style strucutres it often finds itself as a crutch on. I'd say its best use is arguably as a role compressor for other things like tusk and corv to have an extra moveslot to function more effectively but its certainly not a reliable defensive piece right now.

:metagross-mega: A year ago I would've probably put this somewhere in b/b+, but nowadays its like consistently a- material with it seeing solid high level usage and its combination of bulk, breaking power, and utility movepool coming in clutch with not much else able to compete with it.

:slowbro::alomomola: ok, the new hot thing running around I must get to, but the gist of it is that the 2AC nature of NDAAA has specifically allowed these otherwise standard pokes to function very similarly to their OU meta counterparts, which as it turns out is similarly effective here with alomomola's wishpassing having great synergy with immunity slop and slowbro's tried and true futureport combo being a highly effective part of physical breaking cores into things like pecharunt and regen tusk. nice innovation for sure and hope to see these get explored more.

If I didn’t put something its probably UR, too niche to remember, or I actually forgot like in the case of Heatran who’s probably solid A- or Sinistcha who’s low C ranks
