Pending Zero IVs on Trick Room

As is very well known, Pokemon that use Trick Room benefit from having their speed as low as possible, similar to special attackers wanting low Attack.

When selecting Trick Room as a move option in the builder, it only suggests -Spe natures. Why doesn't it automatically set the Speed IV to 0, as is done with Pokemon without physical moves?
 
Zero IVs is only optimal when Trick Room is up. Trick Room is a move that has to be used and lasts five turns and doesn't have an extension item or an automatic setter ability. It will also not be up on the turn you use it.

This was sufficiently long ago that I'm having trouble finding the thread. But suffice to say that after polling the playerbase, most people preferred defaulting to 31 Spe IVs for Trick Room.
