This thread is here to provide a visual list of what a given Pokémon does in the ORAS OU metagame. This will mostly help newer players looking to try out the tier by learning the different roles that certain Pokémon fill. The Pokémon on this list are all viable and are well suited to fit their roles/ niche.

You may find sets of each Pokémon on this list on the EV Spread and Set Compendium.

If a Pokémon separated from the rest by this sign; | , it means that it is either C rank or below on the viability rankings or it is a rare or semi-unviable set.

If you have any suggestions or think I missed out on some Pokémon mention them down below in a post.
The order of roles will be organised as follows;
1. Utility (hazard setters & removers, status spreaders/ support)
2. Offensive roles (attackers, choice item users, set-up sweepers)
3. Defensive roles (pivots, walls)

I will edit this as I go on reading this but fr now:
-Missed out on Jirachi as a hazardd setter.
-Missed out on Stealth Rock Terrakion, courtesy of Bored Pikachu.
-I would consider adding Smeargle to some of the utility categories, particularly Sticky Web.
-Missed out on Thunder Wave Tyranitar.
-Missed out on both Will-O-Wisp Heatran and Mega Charizard X.

I looked through the role compendium and noticed that there is no section on suicide leads. That would likely fall under support because of their role of setting up hazards while denying opposing hazards before going down.

Also worth noting is that regular Aerodactyl isn't listed in the Taunt users section.

Edit:
- The priority moves section is missing Aqua Jet with Azumarill and Crawdaunt as its users.
- Both the physical attacker and special attacker sections missed Mega Altaria.
- Gastrodon and Jellicent are missing from the Scald / Steam Eruption section.
- The Haze section is missing Quagsire and Volcanion.
- Jumping back to regular Aerodactyl, it is also not listed in the Defog section. Given its role as a lead, it would make a worthy inclusion.

thanks for this i've now implemented these changes

Just looked through the role compendium again and found the following:

- Heatran and Mega Manectric are both missing from the Special Attacker section.
- Mega Alakazam is missing from the Calm Mind users section.
- Speaking of Mega Manectric, it is also missing from the Volt Switch users list.
- Diggersby and Talonflame are worth a mention in the U-turn users list.
- Alomomola somehow isn't mentioned as a Regenerator user.

Edit:
- Since Choice Specs Gengar is a thing, Gengar is worth an addition in both the Choice Specs and Trick sections.

Consider adding a Power-Up Punch section under setup sweepers with Mega-Metagross and Azumarill.
Consider removing Mega-Manectric from the Static section.

The Ice Shard section is duplicated.
