Movepool Additions: None

Description: Critdra returns. Spam massive special attacks off of 115/125 offenses and have solid defenses with 75/105/105 bulk. Can set up with Focus Energy for guaranteed crits on all moves which is really powerful. Has a strong typing as well, only being weak to Dragon & Fairy with only Empoleon being able to immediately hard wall it and its coverage. Lacks longevity and can only pop off if it gets a turn to set up.

:sandaconda: Mega Sandaconda: War Incarnate !!
:sandaconda::sandaconda-gmax:
Mega Sandaconda
New Ability
: Dust Devil (This pokemon's damaging Ground-type moves damage all affected pokemon for 1/10th of their max HP at the end of each turn and heal the user for that much damage. Does not affect Ground-type pokemon.)
Type: Ground

New stats:
HP: 72
Attack: 142 (+35)
Defense: 160 (+35)
Special Attack: 65
Special Defense: 100 (+30)
Speed: 71
(610 BST)

New moves: Wide Guard
Description:
Upon Mega Evolution, Sandaconda goes the same route as its Gigantamax form, with the sand in its pouch overflowing and swirling around its neck. It uses this sand to whip up powerful dust storms that pose a grave danger to all that cross it as well as giving it a barrier with which it can use to sponge opposing attacks.

Despite being a primarily defensive pokemon, this Sandaconda uses its STAB Earthquakes to not only wear down the opponent over time, but also provide a form of passive healing for itself with the loss of Shed Skin + Rest and Leftovers. Notably, 142 attack is no slouch, even without investment, giving its initial Ground STAB some serious punch by itself and making the passive chip damage it provides that much more potent. That also means Ground resists aren't quite safe either, since they get hit with the same chip damage as other pokemon and in turn provide Sandaconda with even more useful passive healing. Furthermore, with massively improved hit-taking capability across the board, you have an easier time taking hits left and right, which helps make the most out of Dust Devil's passive recovery. Combined with Stealth Rock and Glare to provide useful utility and infuriating speed control, Sandaconda can prove itself a bulky, hard-to-wear down juggernaut of a Pokemon. Alternatively, it can even run bulky Coil builds, turning it into a dangerous late-game threat that can also sustain itself with its hard-hitting Ground STAB.

In Doubles, Sandaconda can prove a decently potent threat in its own right as well. Earthquake being a spread move lets Sandaconda spread Dust Devil's chip damage even more effectively, in turn also letting it stick on the field longer. Sure, Earthquake affecting your ally is a bit of a double-edged sword (giving Sandaconda even more passive recovery, but also wearing down your ally to be put in range of a KO), but with the right tools, it's one that can be managed. Beyond that, it has Glare to aid with infuriating speed control and Rock Slide for excellent spread coverage. Wide Guard lets it aid its teammates even more, protecting them from any spread moves that would derail their gameplan.

:scream-tail: Mega Scream Tail: BlueRay !!
Mega Scream Tail

Ability: Roaring Scream (User's Sound move inflict Torment effect on the target.)

Type: Fairy / Psychic

New Stats:

HP: 115
Attack: 65 75 (+10)
Defense: 99 → 119 (+20)
Special Attack: 65 → 85 (+20)
Special Defense: 115 → 135 (+20)
Speed: 111 141 (+30)
BST: 570 → 670 (+100)

New moves:
-

Description:
1) Concept

- Scream Tail loves to scream... Therefore, it was only natural to come up with an ability that further underlines this. If you played Pkm SV, the first time you and your friends encounter, Scream Tail appears and roars, immediately scaring the surprised Penny. Roaring Scream kind of reflects that with the Torment effect.

2) Competitive

- In Singles, Scream Tail can use Psychic Noise or Boomburst in combination with Wish and Protect to better keep itself healthy throughout the game. This also works well with set-up moves like Bulk Up or Calm Mind.
- In VGC, Mega Scream Tail's ability has a wider application. There's Hyper Voice for a safer spread move and to limit the opponent's movement, but you also have Perish Song to put the whole field under Torment. Perish Song teams would love Torment because it makes it harder for the opponent to make progress. Though, bear in mind the ability can also affect your own Pokémon because it targets anyone who is affected by a Sound move. Perish Song affecs everyone, so, it will affect everyone, but you can get around it with Soundproof, for instance.
As always, thank you all so much for your submissions!!

Now, I've been told we aren't moving on to another slate right away after this. Instead we will be having a brief hiatus during which, as I understand it, some folks are organizing a draft tournament? Sounds exciting! So keep an eye out for more information and updates about that some time in the next week or so.

That'll do it for me, though. Have a good day, everyone!

Dear community,

while we are working on removing any potential bugs, I'd like to know who wants to participate in the upcoming M4A Paldea SV Draft Tournament. If you are interested, give me an Alomomola-heart or just shoot me a message. You have roughly one week to decide before we move on to drafting. If necessary, I can extend it. Should you have any questions, let me know.

Pokémon Drafting Rules
What is Drafting?
Drafting is a system where players take turns selecting Pokémon from a shared pool. Once a Pokémon is picked, it becomes unavailable to others. The goal is to build a unique team under specific rules and limitations.

Draft Basics
- Each player has 115 points to spend on Pokémon.
- Players take turns choosing one Pokémon at a time.
- Once a Pokémon is drafted, it cannot be picked by anyone else.
- Banned Pokemon as well as black / purple indicated Pokemon cannot or can no longer be drafted. Due to editing issues, you can draft Regieleki in the 10 Points section of the draft list.

Turn Order
- The draft follows a snake format: a → b → c → dd → c → b → aa → b → ...
- This means the last person in a round picks twice, and the order reverses each round.

Draft Schedule
- The draft will take place on the same day for everyone. Most likely about a week after the participation confirmation deadline.
- If a player can’t make it, they must submit a priority list in advance.
- If no priority list is submitted and the time limit expires, the player’s turn is skipped.
- Each person gets 5 minutes to draft a Pokemon.

Drafting via Priority List
- If you can’t be present on your turn, send me a list of your preferred Pokémon in order of priority.
- I will draft the first available Pokémon from your list when your turn comes.
- This helps keep the draft moving and ensures you still get a solid pick.

Mega Evolution Rules
- If you draft a Mega Pokémon, you must use its correct Mega Stone in battle.
- You are not required to Mega Evolve immediately in battle.
- Players who draft the non-Mega version of a Pokémon:
+ Cannot Mega Evolve it.
+ May use any item, except for the corresponding Mega Stone.
+ A player cannot own both the Mega and non-Mega version of the same Pokémon.
+ Example: If you draft Mega Gardevoir, you cannot draft regular Gardevoir, and vice versa.

Summary
- 115 points per player
- Snake draft order (a-b-c-d-d-c-b-a...)
- 5-min pick timer
- Priority lists allowed for absent players
- No duplicate picks
- Mega rules enforce correct item use and prevent duplicate ownership

Links
- M4A Draft Link can be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...HFSNaohf08RztM/edit?gid=19540429#gid=19540429
- We will play on the DH server, accessible here: Link. Format is Gen 9 Megas for All: Paldea.
Tournament Rules
Match Format
- All matches are played in a Best of Three (Bo3) format. Doubles elimination.
- Players may use different teams between games in a Bo3 series.
- Banned and black-indicated Pokémon (listed on the draft list) may not be used under any circumstances.

Match Deadlines
- Each round must be completed within 1 week of being posted.
- If a player is unresponsive, contact the organizer. A decision will be made (e.g., forfeit or extension) based on the situation.

Game Bugs / Glitches
- If a game is negatively impacted by a bug or glitch, it will not be counted as a win or loss. Unless it's obvious who the winner is.
- In this instance, players can keep playing with a different team or, once the bug is solved, they will challenge each other again; they do not have to use the same team again that originally resulted in a bug.

Ruleset + Ban List
- ruleset: ['Standard', 'Z-Move Clause', 'Terastal Clause', 'Mega Data Mod'],
- banlist: ['AG', 'Uber', 'Arena Trap', 'Moody', 'Power Construct', 'Shadow Tag', 'Baton Pass', 'Last Respects', 'Shed Tail', 'King\'s Rock', 'Razor Fang', 'Quick Claw']
- A tournament guideline can be found here: Link.

Replays
- Once a Bo3 match has finished, please privately send me the replays or post them in our Discord server in #replays. Ideally, it should be the winner.
