you can use weapons but it might influence how the pokémon feels about you and there are no pokémon centers to heal it youd have to take it to the vet

if it evolves you have to fight it again

i feel like i could take a lurantis... vespiquen might be pushing it but i'm not allergic. failing that id have to settle for a ribombee or butterfree

I really want a Pichu but this would mean I have to fight a Pichu and I don’t want to do that. I could win, easily, but… it’s a Pichu, I’m not going fight this thing. Any Psychic-Type is off the board completely since they could just throw me around in the fight all over the place. Maybe a Totodile or a Croconaw? They’re my favorite starter Pokémon by a wide margin not counting any of the spinoffs, and I don’t think I could take a fully evolved one in a fight.

Seeking to obtain a furret is low risk and low reward, a wild furret would be pretty easy for most people to beat and if you want to utilise pokemon for criminal purposes, it can be taught moves like flamethrower and thunderbolt. Even with 45 special attack, most people won’t want stand up to an oversized fire breathing ferret unless they’re planning to cosplay as a popeyes biscuit.

I could take Stantler. I already have experience running deer over with my car.
