DPP OU Bo1:
Void vs crayon pop - Crayon Pop may bring any sauce shit that may exploit Void's tendencies, but in-game fundies always prevail, and Void will simply be the better player B).
DPP OU Bo1: DeepBlueC
vs Kristyl - First and only time I won't make a bet. I'd say both of these two are very different in the way they approach the tier, so it's a matchup I wish it was a Bo3 of honestly. They've their own way to innovate and approach in the tier, so I'm very curious how they will punish each other's weak spots. Looking forward to this.
DPP OU Bo1: DazzlingCream vs
TyCarter - Hugo is clearly the better ladder player, but tours are tours, and TyCarter dominates the tour player aspect over Hugo. Although this is bo1, which matches closer to the ladder, TyCarter is much more well-versed in prepping and having a better mentality game than Hugo, who may get tilted, and ultimately make the key mistakes that lose his game, unless TyCarter is being too greedy. Honestly, a very close matchup that is more dependent on who gets the matchup, and ultimately wins the mid-game and avoids dpp shenanigans by the late game.
How I'd imagine the match will go:
Void vs crayon pop - Void may lose the early lead, but eventually he will catch up, where it goes to his favor, and crayon pop may get in a tilt mindset in the middle of the match, leading to the victory for Void. Either Flygon offense from void vs stallbreaker team from crayon pop, or a slow-paced spin balance/stall teams.
DeepBlueC vs Kristyl: I'd imagine it will be a messy RNG fest, and/or a slow-paced match, especially if both of them are going to play the last. Kristyl may lead into very toxic stuff since she despises Bo1 DPP, but I can see DBC punishing her defensive habits really hard if he finds something innovative that she won't expect. Maybe slow, but hopefully there will be some dynamics and interesting sequences in this match.
DazzlingCream vs TyCarter - A very defined description of a defensive player vs an offensive player matchup. Obviously, both are capable of not being defined by what I said. But that's just essentially how I feel like both of them are directing right now. I think it's a very matchup-dependent depended that decides how the pace will be, so if Hugo brings defensive teams, then it's going to be at least 35 turns at minimum fastest, even if he gets the most dogshit mu, and if Tycarter brings offense, I'd imagine at worst he gets one-sided around 50 turns at minimum. With that said, I like these two a lot, so in the end, I hope it'll be a good match.
The tiebreaker pairing is honestly one of my favorite pairings I've ever seen ever. It has everything I like as a spectator. Super close player vs player, awesome players I enjoy watching, got top players, and even my DPP friends facing against each other. Peak DPP gaming, and I'll bring the snacks to enjoy these matches. Big hopes both teams perform well
