INTRODUCTION
It was just another day of grit and crime in the city of National Dex OU, commonly known as NatDex. Gang warfare was ripe, blazing in the ruined streets. Gangs of Big Stall were depleting the resources of others, while gangs of Rain blitzed and raided other teams before they could react. Only the toughest of gangsters could consistently remain on the top, and even they were fallible to the sudden metagame shift. A Pokemon had to be on their toes and sleep with one eye open to make a name. Otherwise they, alongside hundreds others, would tumble down into the slums of NatDex, Natdex RU, the district where the disregarded languish.
Of course, despite their residency, many could make a surprising impact in the big city, maybe even consistently. Gangs must be wary of Swampert-Mega, must respect the power of Nidoking, and dread the thought of Blissey, among a few others. But this is rare.
One day, wannabe gangster Cinccino was busy Tidying Up the streets of NatDex RU, tired of its perpetual life in the slums. Cinccino wanted to make its big break in the city, striking fear in all that glimpse its fur, ruling the tier with an iron fist. Okay, maybe not that much. But it wanted to do something.

While reading the newspaper YouTube, it came across an article by famed mob boss Pinkacross.

A Z-Poltergeist Ceruledge team with Veil? Cinccino thought. How profoundly unique. Glad seeing my fellow RU neighbour Ninetales-Alola doing well in NatDex.
Cinccino carried on reading, bored of the formation of top tier gangsters. Of course Ogerpon-Wellspring is here, bemoaned Cinccino. Only permanent residents would be considered for high ladder teams. Do they want failure?
But before Cinccino would flip the page to the comedy page, with all its favourite shorts, a line piqued its interest. As shown below:

"Cinccino is not a bad option": A quote directly from the mouth of the legend Pinkacross himself.

Oh my Arceus, Cinccino thought. Pinkacross said it himself. Do I really have a chance?

TEAM BUILDING
:ceruledge: :ninetales-alola: :ogerpon-wellspring:
At once Cinccino had to apply for the spot on the trio's gang. It could not pass up on the opportunity. How else will it see the streets of NatDex? But it had to make a great impression on them. Thus, it was an intense interview.

:ceruledge:: Good morning, M. Cinccino, and thank you for application for this gang.
:cinccino: : Good morning to you all too!
:ogerpon-wellspring:: Let's just jump straight into the bizz. What makes you think your presence will do to be worthwhile in our gang?
:cinccino:: I'm glad you asked. For one, I am a hazard remover, which I can see would help you three quite a bit.
:ninetales-alola:: True, we are all vulnerable to hazards...
:ceruledge:: But many other fulfil the same role, and do many more. Hatterene is quite enticing for starters, providing us much needed special coverage, while providing Magic Bounce support. And Great Tusk is promising; Ground-types are, of course, almost mandatory on every gang.
:cinccino:: While those are excellent options, they have their flaws. Hatterene cannot block Ceaseless Edge, and Great Tusk is blocked by the common Ghost-type. Come to think of it, both really hate Ghost-types. But I do not.
:ogerpon-wellspring:: I am still not convinced.
:cinccino:: Well, picture this. What will those two do against any well-crafted hazard stack team? Hatterene will either let a spike or two onto the field, and Tusk will simply flail at the sight of an Air Balloon Gholdengo. But me? I can clean up our side, no problem! As a benefit, I am immune to Shadow Ball too.
:ninetales-alola:: But why should we choose you over your contemporary Maushold? They are more powerful with their weapon of a Population Bomb.
:cinccino:: Don't make me laugh! Their coverage is measly, and any Rocky Helmet Pokemon can deal with them. I need more thought to be taken down.
:ceruledge:: Alright, I believe you have proven your quality over Maushold. I'll ask you this question: even though you can remove hazards in front of Gholdengo, you can't exactly threaten it in return. And don't suggest Knock Off, otherwise you will immediately not be considered.
:cinccino:: Well, those are your jobs, right? You threaten Dengo with both your STABs, while Ms. Waterpon over there can resists its Make It Rain.
:ninetales-alola:: You drive a hard bargain, M. Cinccino. One more thing, what do you have over Terapagos, a similar Normal-type hazard remover? It may only have spin, but it can threaten Dengo with Flamethrower or Earth Power. It also has the fantastic anti-offence tool of Tera Shell, and provides much needed special coverage.
:cinccino:: Ah! Here is the crux of my argument, of how I am the perfect fit for your gang. Come closer, all you three.
:ogerpon-wellspring:: We're listening.
:cinccino:: I am... a funnier choice.
:ceruledge:: ...
:ninetales-alola:: ...
:ogerpon-wellspring:: ...

:ceruledge: :ninetales-alola: :ogerpon-wellspring: :cinccino:
Successfully on the team, Cinccino was overjoyed. Now it can finally prove itself! But of course, they weren't finished with hiring just yet. There were two more available options.

:ceruledge: :ninetales-alola: :ogerpon-wellspring: :cinccino: :garchomp-mega:
First up, Garchomp-Mega joined as the gang's fifth member. They appreciated its Ground-typing, and while it is usually not used to such fast paced gangs, it found its place with its mixed coverage barraging any tank coming its way.

:ceruledge: :ninetales-alola: :ogerpon-wellspring: :cinccino: :garchomp-mega: :okidogi:
And finally, an oddball choice, Okidogi joined. It provided not only a Toxic Spikers absorber, but was a solid blanket check to a lot of special threats and Zamazenta, especially behind the shield of Ninetales' Veil. It brandished a rare choice of weaponry in Psychic Fangs, providing decent neutral coverage against a lot of foes while making sure the hound Zamazenta does to use it as a set-up opportunity.

And thus, for a while, this was how the gang looked like. The originals, one may say. They blazed through the high 1500s and the low 1600s, making a name for itself in the mid 1650s. One could say they were successful. Cinccino, a low RU Pokemon, was proving its worth as a gangster in NatDex! But somehow, Cinccino was not satisfied with the results. Couldn't this gang be just a bit more better? Maybe join the legendary ranks of post-1750 ELO? Thus, Cinccino called up another meeting.

:cinccino:: I love you all here. We create a great team. But do y'all think this gang could be just a bit better? You know... pass 1700 ELO?
:ninetales-alola:: I see what you mean, but RU mon to RU mon, I don't see how we can reach that high.
:ceruledge:: Are you not content here? We have been the highest we've ever been!
:cinccino:: But you all know we can do better. Even if that means drastic changes!
:ogerpon-wellspring:: But how? I speak for everyone here; we can do better. But how? This is the pinnacle of all of us teamcrafting!
:cinccino:: I think I just know the place...

Despite the gore and struggle of NatDex, there are communities of mob bosses that help each other out, aiding aspiring gangsters to stardom. And thus, this gang decided to visit one such community in the villages of Discord. One such village was none other than Pinkacord, run by none other than Pinkacross himself, the mob boss that started Cinccino's life of being a NatDex mobster. They came here for results. And the results did not disappoint.
Don TheOCCIdot of the Pinkacross village took one swift glance at the gang and immediately saw holes.

TheOCCIdot: Garchomp needs to go.
:garchomp-mega:: Welp.
TheOCCIdot: Okidogi can also be replaced.
:okidogi:: Oh.

Don TheOCCIdot then offered two fresh gang members that seemed to fit the mob better.
:ceruledge: :ninetales-alola: :ogerpon-wellspring: :cinccino: :latias-mega: :iron-moth:
Finally, the gang ended up with this motley crew.

THE TEAM
Ceruledge.png

Ceruledge @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Weak Armor
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 56 HP / 252 Atk / 200 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Poltergeist
- Bitter Blade
- Shadow Sneak

The bladed menace itself, M. Ceruledge is sure to dice up any team unprepared for its onslaught. A +2 Z-Poltergeist cleanly OHKOs any Alomomolas foolish enough to see it as one of those common thugs running Weakness Policy. It may not have the most durable hit taking skills, for it actively gets weaker the more Ceruledge is attacked, but it makes up with its deadly +2 speed, easily spiralling out of control for unprepared teams. Bitter Blade is an unfair weapon, draining the life essence of rivals, allowing M. Ceruledge to carry on. Shadow Sneak is a quick bullet, sniping any Iron Valiants or opposing Ogerpons that think they have it easy. Such fools.
Ninetales.png
(Further reports suggest that Ninetales' alias of Smash and second criminal record is probably not true)
Ninetales-Alola @ Light Clay
Ability: Snow Warning
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aurora Veil
- Snowscape
- Encore
- Freeze-Dry

While it may not be the most threatening gangster out there, with a pitiful raw 198 Sp. Atk, but M. Ninetales makes up by providing excellent support. After all, how else was Baxcalibur banished from the city of OU? Many attacks would have proven fatal if not for the shield of Aurora Veil. Snowscape ensures opposing weather gangs cannot gain the upper hand, and Encore locks many rivalling mobsters into detrimental circumstances. Good luck Defogging the Veil away before you are turned into set-up fodder by Ceruledge. M. Ninetales' choice of arsenal is Freeze-Dry, allowing it to not stay too passive, sniping the ever so common Landorus-T and Gliscor.

Ogerpon.png

Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- Substitute

The most notorious member of the team, Ms. Ogerpon made sure to make its name in several other locales. The gangs of OU all clamber to try to banish her from the city, while the city of STABmon already kicked her out. She makes her use in this NatDex gang by disrupting the Water-types that scare M. Ceruledge, especially from the barrage of Urshifu's Rapid Strikes. Gangs of Big Stall most stay wary of her as well, for her substitute easily lets her set-up on mobsters like Blissey and Sableye. One must pray Toxapex can haze in time. Horn Leech allows Ms. Ogerpon to stay healthy, letting her sub several times if possible.

Cinccino.png

Cinccino @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tidy Up
- Tail Slap
- Triple Axel
- Rock Blast
The main star of the gang, Cinccino. Its presence alone makes the opposing gang lose their focus. They laugh to themselves. What can it do? Cinccino is a slum nobody! Cinccino knows this. It cannot do much. But M. Cinccino can easily surprise an unsuspecting gangster. Tidy Up keeps the turf clean, keeping its fellow teammates healthy from the pesky traps of rocks and spikes. Triple Axel and Rock Blast are two vicious machine guns, barraging Pokemon like Zapdos and Moltres. Even an unsuspect Ferrothorn of Corviknight may see a good chunk of their health diminished by a +1 Triple Axel. M. Cinccino is also the sole immunity to Ghost-moves on the team, limiting the movement of gangsters like Gholdengo. Of course, don't expect it to do much in return. It is mostly here for support.

Latias.png

Latias-Mega (F) @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Roost
- Stored Power
- Aura Sphere

The others are afraid to admit this, but Madame Latias is the most valuable member of this gang. With max investment in HP, the Madame becomes unreasonably bulky behind Veil, easily sweeping teams after a few Calm Minds and Roosts. Stored Power smashes through even the bulkiest of resists, and Aura Sphere is always there to shoot down a pesky Dark-type. Its Levitate provides much support in being a Ground-immunity, making sure the gang is not toast against a hald-decent Ground-mobster. Many wars were won with just Madame Latias.

Iron Moth.png

Iron Moth @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 124 Def / 132 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fiery Dance
- Sludge Wave
- Energy Ball
- Substitute

M. Moth here is like a faulty machine gun. It either is useless, or it destroys gangs with ease. Being the T-Spikes absorber and form of speed control, M. Moth can easily run circles around mobs, as long as RNGesus is feeling merciful. One must pray for a Sp. Atk boost for Moth to become a serious threat. Energy Ball is a situational bullet, dealing with bulky Water- and Ground-type mobsters. Substitute is a failsafe against Kingambit, for its weapon of Sucker Punch threatens this gang greatly. As a bonus, Sub blocks the attempts of Thunder Wave from Slowking-Galar.

With the gang members out of the way, let's see some mobsters that spell trouble.

THREATLIST
Kingambit.png

World famous oyabun Kingambit itself. Sucker Punch is a nasty tool, and our only resist can only do so much against a Steel-wielding gangster. Encore helps against a Kingambit that used Swords Dance or a Dark-move. Subbing in front of Kingambit helps, but one predict wrong, and that's the end of the road for the gang. Sometimes you can surprise a Kingambit by simply predicting no Sucker Punch. It's a tough gunfight.

Melmetal.png

The resident strongman itsself, M. Melmetal will claim at least one body. Afterall, even Ogerpon-Wellspring, who resists Double Iron Bash, still is almost 2HKO'd by bulky variants.. Steel + Ground coverage is generally brutal for our team. Best course of action is either sack M. Moth or M. Ninetales for a strong attack or Veil respectively, and then it should be relatively fine on the battleground.

Chansey.png

While she may look all happy and cheery, Chansey is one hell of a threat. Most cases, it's not herself that's the problem, but how she makes the balance gangs she find herself in so tough to crack. Ms. Ogerpon may deal with her just fine, but if she has a Ferrothorn for a teammate, then you know you're in one hell of a ride. If we switch to M. Ceruledge or M. Moth, then she'll switch right back in, crippling fellow gangsters with Toxic or TWave. Seismic breaking Sub in one hit is bad, and Stealth Rocks suck too. Good positioning is key in taking down Chansey.
NOTABLE GANG BATTLES
(Click the Pokemon for the recordings)

:zamazenta: :hatterene: :porygon-z: :gholdengo: :iron-crown: :gyarados-mega: - Started off scarily when they pulled out an unexpected Heavy Slam Screens Zam, but Iron Moth dealt with the team just fine (RNGesus was feeling particularly generous).

:zapdos: :slowking-galar: :zamazenta: :kingambit: :alomomola: :great-tusk: - After being backed into a very tight corner after some horrible decisions, Madame Latias clutched up the win after what seemed to be a sure loss. This is just the first of many sweeps by Madame Latias.

:tapu-lele: :urshifu-rapid-strike: :manectric-mega: :pecharunt: :ting-lu: :tornadus-therian: - Yet another battle won by Madame Latias. Urshifu might've KO'd with U-Turn though, so the early forfeit was unprecedented.

:beedrill-mega: :magnezone: :tapu-lele: :corviknight: :kyurem: :landorus-therian: - M. Ceruledge easily dispatched of this gang, turning Corviknight into set-up opportunity.

:heatran: :venusaur-mega: :tornadus-therian: :alomomola: :gliscor: :ogerpon-wellspring: - Of course there are times when gang warfare gets really intense and are recorded in a tournament, with nothing on the line except bragging rights. Well, this situation was no different, with the gang against one such tourney. Again with Madame Latias, the tournament was won.

:latios-mega: :alomomola: :skarmory: :tyranitar: :gliscor: :gholdengo: - Cinccino proved its worth here by using Triple Axel for the win. The opposing mob boss was not happy about M. Cinccino hitting all 6 hits.

:tapu-koko: :zeraora: :rillaboom: :great-tusk: :volcanion: :kyurem: - Madame Latias strikes again!

:ogerpon-wellspring: :iron-moth: :landorus-therian: :tapu-koko: :scizor: :hawlucha: - M. Moth once again proving RNGesus is too real of a factor in the crime of NatDex. Not everyday a mobster sweeps a rival gang singlehandedly.

:alomomola: :cinderace: :tapu-koko: :iron-valiant: :landorus-therian: :iron-treads: - M. Ceruledge cleanly swept this gang off their feet.

:archaludon: :pelipper: :raging-bolt: :terapagos-terastal: :swampert-mega: :celesteela: - The final victory before the gang stopped for the time being. It was against a rain gang, and the godfather was right about how RNGesus definitely played a part in the victory.

THE RESULTS

(the proof of results cannot actually be seen, they'll be later shown in the comments)

:cinccino:: This... is perfect.
:ceruledge:: 100th place in NatDex on the dot. Wow.
:ninetales-alola:: Do we think we can do better?
:cinccino:: I do believe so, but truth is... I'm afraid we might dip again.
:ogerpon-wellspring:: And 100 is just a clean number.
:latias-mega:: With the files of this coming out, we may have to lay low for a while. Perhaps we need to disband for a while.
:ninetales-alola:: Really? I really enjoyed the time together.
:cinccino:: I did so too. But I think Madame Latias is right. We can't do this forever.
:ceruledge:: It was nice while it lasted. Cheers for the journey.
:Iron-Moth:: 01000011 01101000 01100101 01100101 01110010 01110011 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01100001 01101100 01101100 00100001
BACK TO REALITY
If you made it here, thanks for reading! Was pretty fun making this RMT. It is sorta cheesy, and there probably will be mistakes. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Shoutout to Pinkacross and TheOCCIdot from Pinkacord for inspiring this team! (This is not pro-Pinkacross propaganda)
Enjoy the team if you want. I don't know.

:cinccino:: This... is perfect.
