The Tokyo Ghoul soundtrack is straight up amazing, might be one of the best ones I've ever heard from any anime, especially with the OPs, I like it a ton

oh and I love how since it was so popular on YouTube, it ended up having many different versions and mixes of "Unravel", and a good amount of the rest of the soundtrack too, though to a notably lesser extent

melty blood type lumina, despite having "melty blood" in its name, should not be considered a melty blood game. The only real similarities are the fact they're fighting games (which is somehow more credit than i can give a certain extension of a fg franchise) and they include tsukihime characters.
like seriously. you switch the game from an incredibly fast-paced airdasher with an effective cast list of 96 characters (including joke characters and bottom tiers) to "heeyyyy here's guilty gear with pixel art and slightly faster frame data across the board and the most obscenely unbalanced block mechanic in the game have fuuunnnnn". the game doesn't even have sion (the PROTAGONIST OF THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE???) because she's too busy driving up revenue for your other fighting game that plays nearly the same and also has no concurrent players.

fnaf 2 was garbage actually
it is the first movie i could literally not stand watching. i only stayed watching it in theatres because one, my friend was there (he liked it? apparently) and two i spent 29 AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS ON THE TICKET
i have never ever EVER been so frustrated at something before; i legitamately cannot believe the most enjoyable part of the movie was when a guy in the audience pulled out his phone and booted up Clash Royale at full volume! My most enjoyable experience was completely external!
do not see fnaf 2. it's not worth your time. it's definitely not worth your money.

i know literally nothing about the movie but i feel like this is indicative of things

Pokémon Legends: ZA is garbage for the price it's asking, especially here in the land of the great white north (Canada). We’re already facing high taxes with the GST at 13% in Ontario and 14% in Quebec. When you combine that with the base prices $85 for Switch 1 and $100 for Switch 2 you know it’s a raw deal. This doesn’t even count the ridiculous $40 for the DLC!

Pokémon fans will label you a hater for speaking the truth, but let’s be real: many are just bootlickers willing to have their throats stepped on by Game Freak and the Pokémon Company. Unlike other Pokémon DLCs, like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero," which bundles both the Teal Mask and Indio Disk, or Pokémon Sword and Shield’s "The Isle of Armor" and "The Crown Tundra," this situation feels cheap in terms of quality and content, but not the price lamo. In Canada, those DLCs are $40 due to our currency being weaker than that of the U.S. and Europe.

If you wanted to buy Sword & Shield or Scarlet & Violet’s DLC, there was a good reason they were packed with way more content compared to both Z-A’s base game and its poorly designed DLC, Mega Dimensions. Everyone in Canada can barely afford rent and food, and the rising cost of living makes this even worse. Z-A and Mega Dimensions feel like an absolute downgrade compared to previous Pokémon games.

While I do like the characters and Mega, I can’t accept the price they’re asking. If this game were priced at $49.99 CAD or $39.99 USD, it would feel more reasonable, similar to how the Gen 6 and 7 games were priced. Plus, Z-A is full of bugs and glitches. Have you seen the design of the building windows? They don’t even look real! You’re just running around some pointless city, and I refuse to pay $90 for a game that only allows you to explore this one pathetic area.

The graphics look so bad they belong on the PS2. It’s 2026 for damn sakes, games should not look like they’re from that era. You know what? Even many games from that time period look way better than Pokémon Legends: ZA. That’s how far I’m willing to go!

This game is an absolutely inferior product when stacked against past Pokémon titles. There are no excuses!

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is just pathetic garbage and a cash grab for all the people who wanted a real Kalos game, not just some dumb city that you cannot leave to explore other parts of Kalos!

You can have a look for yourselves:

People need to think more about their finances instead of giving all their hard-earned money away to the Pokémon Company (PTC) and Game Freak (GF) for this garbage. They are a billion-dollar company, after all, not some unknown indie developer. They are a global phenomenon and can clearly put more effort into these games.

Look at other Nintendo games on the Switch: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Metroid. Need I say more? These games have better graphics compared to many Pokémon games on the Switch. Even Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee have better graphics than Sword & Shield, both Legends games, and Scarlet and Violet, unless if its the Pokémon their textures look somewhat good. It’s ridiculous!

People often hate on Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, and I get it. But those graphics look so much better than any Pokémon game on the Switch. On top of that, they aren't riddled with bugs and glitches. Yes, I'm pissed that they excluded cross-gen evolutions and pre-evolutions related to Gen 1 Pokémon, and yes, I'm furious about breaking the 151-rule with Meltan and Melmetal. But do they look nice? Absolutely! Do they have a proper ride mechanic, unlike many other Pokémon games on the Switch? Yes!

Game Freak scrapped the riding feature in ZA, and frankly, ZA is just a fucking pile of shit. I don't care how angry people get at me or if there’s an angry mob with pitchforks and torches. We need to address the pain points of the Pokémon community if we want to see growth. PTC and GF need to stop getting away with all this BS. It’s insane how much Pokémon fans let these two get away with subpar offerings.

We could have much better games if it weren't for the fact that people are always protecting Pokémon. I just care deeply about Pokémon and want it to improve. I’m not asking for ultra-realistic 3D graphics that make the Pokémon look like real animals. What I want, in terms of graphics, is something akin to what we see in Zelda, Mario, and even some third-party games like Yo-kai Watch 4 and so much more. Those games may not have ultra-realistic graphics, but they still look nice and have far superior graphics compared to any Pokémon game on the Switch so far. Let’s hope that Gen 10 isn’t a massive letdown!

A lot of people in the Pokémon community agree with me on this. Even RuffledRowlet made a video a couple of years ago about it.

Let’s not act like this is something so controversial, because many people in this community will lash out at you for even saying it.

this reads more like you meant to put it in the hot take thread than the cold take one. then again, this is basically a laundry list of generic "pokemon bad" talking points, so maybe it works as a cold take among, like, redditors or something
