Hi, I got IP banned today (I'll explain the details once they're relevant) and would like to find out, where to appeal it.
All the options I was able to find either lead me to creating a Ticket on Showdown, which requires an account I can use, or appealing for a Global ban / permalink, which isn't the case.

Am really new here and asked on different pokémon related Discord but didn't got an answer. So... Here I am.

Is it possible to setup custom rules on Showdown! ?

I would like to make a little tournament for some friends but with metronome only. I have seen a ruleset usable for Metronome-only but it is a 2v2 format and I would like it to be 1v1 only. But couldn't find how to do it.

My apologies if this question has an obvious answer somewhere.

Yes, there are "challenge codes" you can use to add customized rules to your tier. You can build these codes manually or with the format builder (type /buildformat into any chatbox on Showdown), and a guide to these rules can be found by typing /battlerules in like fashion.
 
If I wanted to ask for help with coding stuff (using code from the showdown github), where would I be able ask those questions? They aren't simple questions unfortunately, so I'm not asking them here.
 
Hello! I'm trying to log back into my Showdown account, but my saved password is not working. Unsure if I've changed it and forgotten (for whatever reason) but if there's any way to recover my account I would love some help!

Are you on an Apple device and using iCloud's Private Relay feature? That feature is known to mess with logins, please disable it if you are.

If you did forget/lose your password, unfortunately there is no account recovery system in place as there is no way to verify account ownership (PS! accounts are standalone without backup systems such as recovery emails.)

Ahh, that's a shame. But no, I am running the client through Chrome. Fingers crossed I can go through some other possible passwords and get back in. Thanks!
