RBY Monotype is a metagame originally founded by the Ruins of Alph community a few years ago that goes off the basic Gen 1 Overused Pokemon + Same Type Clause (A fancy ruling that just means Monotype). The tier starts off with Psychic, Water, and Flying being the mainstream types alongside with primarily types with either partial-trapping moves like Bind, Fire Spin, and Wrap validating its viability such as Fire, Rock, and Poison. Unfortunately, Gen 1 doesn't have the exposure to the dex we know in real time so some types are left slightly incomplete due to the nature of the generation in Ghost and Dragon.
