Projects National Dex UU Team Bazaar

lost seasonal so heres the majority of teams I used during this season

:thundurus: :slowbro: :tyranitar: :excadrill: :altaria mega: :okidogi:
I really like this team, despite rushing it I think the combination of cb tar + z thund destroys any bo and excadrill and av dogi are great into offense, does need to keep hazards off/mega with alt asap as to avoid weird interactions with cb rilla but I think its a rather strong team and I probably should have won with it

:sinistcha: :bisharp: :aerodactyl mega: :celesteela: :tapu fini: :victini:
Meme team I spent very little time on, the sinistcha idea is cool into stuff like aero + drill but the rest of the team feels plastered on to cover certain matchups against specific mons and isnt very cohesive

:aerodactyl mega: :primarina: :infernape: :pecharunt: :rillaboom: :excadrill:
Edit of an Iride team, not much to say that hasn't already been said but I went Pech > Aegi for the Okidogi mu

:hydreigon: :aerodactyl mega: :swampert: :scizor: :pecharunt: :volcanion:
I don't remember what I was watching but I saw Hydrei fry some team and I realized nobody really used fairy types prior to Fini dropping and you can greed modest with its speed tier for the most part, rest of the team is pretty shit tho I don't know how I made the only team to lose to sand Exca but its 2-0 in tours so it must be broken

:rotom wash: :rillaboom: :aerodactyl mega: :excadrill: :pecharunt: :celesteela:
Personal favorite of mine as of now, used a few different versions prior to settling on this six, Ttar is super annoying with the lack of a Dark resist but split Rotom is good into sand in general so that matchup is not the end of the world

:gardevoir mega: :goodra hisui: :salamence: :swampert: :buzzwole: :mienshao:
Fat cteam, would probably make goodra dragon tail or something so I don't auto lose to goltres lol

:thundurus: :swampert: :aerodactyl mega: :serperior: :pecharunt: :scizor:
Never ended up using this for some reason but 3mm definitely invented ddance maero.

:aegislash: :okidogi: :rotom wash: :aerodactyl mega: :clefable: :hippowdon:
fairly certain this is something dan or iride made but I changed like one set so its my team now, regardless okidogi was pretty ridiculous for the brief period of time where it wasnt as popular

:tyranitar: :iron boulder: :excadrill: :celesteela: :clefable: :iron moth:
tspikes moth is definitely a meme pick in a meta where okidogi and pecharunt are popular, team is pretty bad not gonna lie

:salamence: :tyranitar: :excadrill: :clefable: :rotom wash: :aerodactyl mega:
I think offensive mence is pretty underrated but team needs an actual grass resist that doesnt lose to knock off, probably offensive buzzwole or pecharunt over clefable

:skarmory: :latias mega: :alakazam: :hippowdon: :bisharp: :volcanion:
not a fan of this team anymore, especially not plot zam

:rillaboom: :blacephalon: :hydreigon: :clefable: :latias mega: :rotom wash:
team was mostly for fun, if i recall it was made not long after crown was banned

Honestly speaking I am pretty relieved at finally being out of seasonal and any nduu tour in general, I have been playing this tier nonstop since I have essentially started playing tours again, which was around 14 months ago. I think Iride described it nicely with the term "cabin fever", definitely time for me to take a step back from this tier till circuit playoffs, obviously won't stop playing it completely tho. I wasn't going to do shoutouts but this sorta reads like a salty loss post. Thanks to all the mafia guys, it was very refreshing to bounce ideas off you guys in multiple tiers and feels like I got some energy to try and build and not continue recycling across seasonal. Thank you to Iride for testing with me, especially during dead periods where I kinda just didn't play as much. Shoutout Salmon and Rafa for smashing me in seasonal so I can move on and play a real tier and good luck to both of you in finals.

edit: forgot to say this but shoutout to vr and tiering council, you guys do a good job to make this tier easy to get into.

Ogerpon Hazard Stack

(Pokepaste)
:ogerpon: :scizor: :iron-moth: :Tyranitar: :Excadrill: :Tapu-fini:

Building Process:

:pmd/ogerpon:

Halloween Mask (Ogerpon) (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Spikes

The star of the show. The idea is that ogerpon has a nice matchup into removal like rotom wash, can punish defog with defiant, and threaten stuff out to set spikes, knock, or u turn.

:pmd/scizor:

Scizor (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 56 Def / 76 SpD / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Roost

Mostly here to welp with some of the grasses that wall oger as well as being another knock user and priority user which is great for hazard stack.

:pmd/iron-moth:

Iron Moth @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fiery Dance
- Sludge Wave
- U-turn
- Morning Sun

Moth helps with breaking steels for oger and sciz and offers another pivot to the team as well.

:pmd/tyranitar:

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- Stealth Rock

Ttar provides a much needed moth check, yet another powerful knock user, the breaker of the team and stealth rock setter

:pmd/excadrill:

Excadrill @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Rush
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 104 HP / 84 Atk / 56 Def / 148 SpD / 116 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin

Excadrill can fill many important roles depending on the situation, mostly being a good utility mon that can remove hazards with rapid spin which is very important for hazard stack, but it can also be speed control with sand rush or even a wincon.

:Pmd/tapu-fini:

Tapu Fini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Misty Surge
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Nature's Madness

Tapu fini does a nice job of patching a lot of the issues the team had, if you haven’t noticed the time is almost entirely physical so fini being another special attacker that can threaten physical walls like hippo or garg is nice, as well as preventing the team from getting burned from something like wisp washtom which is otherwise extremely free into this team.

Happy Halloween :pumpkaboo:

Was refreshing playing this tier during both Open and NDFL. Was also a pleasure working with Dabman1069 and the rest of my friends

(I hope this link works idk the proper method)

Here’s the explanation

Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 SpA / 20 SpD / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Rotom is capable of outspeeding and can oneshot mega Aero with Hydro Pump due to the specified EVS and the scarf. Rotom is also able to shut down any stall/set up mon by tricking the scarf. Rotom when using Volt Switch allows you to send in a pokemon for a more favorable matchup. Rotom’s last move HP fighting is for catching bisharps off guard and being able to two shot them, whilst being capable of living more than two hits.

Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit

Tyranitar is a pursuit trapper, potential sweeper, and sand setting enabler that allows excadrill to outspeed everything. (Doesn’t have to be shiny, I only made it a shiny because it’s more personal to me because I have a strong shiny TTar in pokemongo)

Latias-Mega @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Recover
- Mystical Fire
- Calm Mind

Mega Latias is a strong special attacker that is capable of dealing with celesteela due to mystical fire.
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Sneak
- Close Combat
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance

Aegi is a bulky slow physical attacker, being capable to swords dance on almost anything and then be able to fire off Shadow Sneaks that are sometimes lethal, and Close Combats to finish anything else. (I made shiny because I like shiny Aegi a lot)

Mimikyu @ Red Card
Ability: Disguise
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Play Rough
- Phantom Force

Mimikyu can force out any one sweeper and be able to turn into one itself, the real benefit here is the typing which allows Mimikyu to swap into an obvious dragon/normal/fighting type attack, and set up a swords dance while maintaining the safety of the ability and the item still remaining.

Excadrill @ Expert Belt
Ability: Sand Rush
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Horsepower
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin

Exca is a hazard spinner, but also the fastest sweeper by far, with the power of TTar’s sand storm, excadrill’s speed will double and with one swords dance exca could plow through teams (with the exceptions of flying and steel types). High Horsepower is better than earthquake when a grassy terrain comes into play, the only sacrifice is 5 damage so I think it’s worth it.

Thank you for your submission! For transparency sake I want to note that we do not accept sample submissions with Pokemon that are unranked on the VR.
