I’m sure we’re all familiar with football (not the fake one played in the “United States of America”, but the real one played by chads worldwide). Honestly, I think it’s fair to say that football could have stopped wars. After all, it’s a global entertainment machine like no other.
To get to the point, though, football hooliganism is a major issue in many countries. English football, for example, has had many instances of dangerous instances. For instance, take the separated article of English football incidents - it’s incredible how many rivalries and incidents have happened just in England, let alone La Liga, Serie A, or even Ligue 1. Overall, it’s clear hooliganism is a major stain on football’s reputation, especially in the Premier League.
So how do we fix this? Under the introduction of the Football Disorder Act of 2000, incidences have occurred far less. Nevertheless, we can do far more in the status quo to stop the racist incidences and the animosity that comes with football pairings.
