The BH council has elected for Stone Axe to be the element of tiering focus following the previous tiering survey. Due to Stone Axe's immense impact on teambuilding and its difficult-to-replace nature, this tournament helps provide a better opportunity for the community explore in-depth a metagame without Stone Axe prior to the suspect test.
The top 3* finishing players will be given automatic suspect reqs if a Stone Axe suspect occurs.

Tournament Rules:
- General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
- The banlist for this tournament is the same as the Balanced Hackmons format of the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found here, except with Stone Axe banned.
- This tournament is best of three, double elimination.
- Loser's Bracket rounds will be No Johns. These rounds will be from Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday.
- There will be no extensions unless otherwise specified.
- If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
- Battles should take place on SmogTours.
- Replays must be posted alongside the result.
- Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.
