Holy fuck dude how are you this committed to misapplying mathematics in order to demonstrate your lack of understanding of the game? You clearly don't have data supporting any sort of mathematical representation of the worth of sleep, you're clearly ignoring a LOT of the ways sleeping pokemon can bring value aside from waking and on top of that the "value of sleep" is so variable that quantifying it comes with so much uncertainty that it's a transparently stupid exercise for almost everyone. Your maths is honestly just bad as well, like I don't think that you've proven anything
The funny thing is none of those critiques are the greatest issue with your "analysis". It's that you're completely ignoring literally everything that goes into making a good lead aside from a single turn clicking a status move. How effectively does it block status? How effectively does it spread status? What does it do after turn 1? What are its defensive merits? If it trades status, what does the game state look like after this occurs? Are you going to ignore the fact that running a para lead is not incompatible with landing sleep? Your analysis is so myopic it's embarrassing.
Also as said much more eloquently
by Amaranth, pokemon is not chess. This comparison is stupid.
I'm so sick of seeing this spam
edit: sorry for being rude, but these posts are genuinely infuriating
