Imagine, if you will.

Dragons.

I hope that wasn't too hard for you.

After all, dragons are a staple of mankind's myths and stories. They roam from Beijing to London, flying from before history into a modern film.

You, yes, you, have seen one of these stories before. I guarantee it.

But here's a funny thing about myths. When a dragon is a myth, it's not real. How about that. You saw something that wasn't real!

Don't worry, you don't need to visit a psychiatrist. There is something else, though, I'd like you to see.

A dragon isn't real, but we can still talk about him all the same. He's big, real big, with great, broad wings, dinosaur claws, and a nice long tail. He's got a lovely set of gleaming teeth, razor sharp, and a mean old look in those eyes.

Well, that's not all dragons. I've got a buddy down the street who's told me about some real nice dragons. From the way he talked, I don't think they even had wings. But that's fine, we humans are different and special in our own ways, and dragons can be too.

My point is that, there are no dragons, yet we all agree that Smaug fellow is a dragon. We agree that my suit is not. We can bend some rules on what a dragon is, sure, but there's a whole lot of rules to describe this animal that never actually breathed air.

Which brings me to my final request.

Imagine something else, if you will.

A world without dragons.

Something new is flying across the world, or swimming, or digging, or something else entirely.

What would you imagine, then?
