¡Bienvenidos a la vigésimo segunda edición de una de las tradiciones más antiguas de Smogon, el Torneo Oficial de Smogon ! El formato es tan simple como clásico: un torneo al mejor de tres, donde el ganador se lo lleva todo, en la generación actual de nuestro formato OverUsed. El ganador recibe el trofeo dorado:
Los jugadores se elegirán aleatoriamente para competir entre sí durante tantas rondas como sean necesarias hasta encontrar al campeón final. Como siempre, ¡ las repeticiones serán obligatorias a partir de la segunda ronda! Asegúrate de guardarlas y publicarlas al reclamar tu victoria a partir de la segunda ronda, aunque también te recomendamos guardar las repeticiones de la primera ronda por si surge alguna disputa.

Reglas generales del torneo
Reglas específicas de la banda sonora
- Este es un torneo estándar de SV OU .
- El torneo será de eliminación simple .
- Los jugadores jugarán una serie al mejor de tres juegos en cada ronda.
- ¡ Las partidas se jugarán en Pokémon Showdown! Si no se ponen de acuerdo sobre en qué servidor jugar, el servidor Smogtours es la opción predeterminada.
Reglas y cláusulas estándar
- Cláusula de Movimientos Somníferos : Los ataques que induzcan el sueño a los Pokémon rivales están prohibidos.
- Cláusula de Especies : Un jugador no puede tener dos Pokémon iguales en su equipo. Por ejemplo, no puede tener dos Koffings en su equipo.
- Cláusula de evasión : Un jugador no puede usar los movimientos Doble equipo o Minimizar en los conjuntos de movimientos de su Pokémon.

- Cláusula de paso de bastón: La maniobra de paso de bastón está prohibida por completo.
- Cláusula Uber : Los jugadores no pueden usar ningún objeto, movimiento, habilidad o Pokémon que aparezca en la Lista de Baneo de OU de Smogon . Si los niveles cambian o hay nuevos objetos, habilidades, movimientos o Pokémon disponibles a mitad de una ronda, los cambios se aplicarán en la ronda siguiente. Acerca de las decisiones de actividad
Decisiones de Actividad / Lanzamientos de Moneda : En caso de que haya una partida incompleta al llegar la fecha límite, se lanzará una moneda al aire a menos que uno o ambos jugadores soliciten específicamente una victoria de actividad y expliquen adecuadamente por qué merecen la victoria sobre su oponente. Es necesario intentar programar una batalla para obtener la victoria por actividad. Para que quede claro que solicitas una victoria de actividad al publicar, debes abrir tu publicación con " Solicitud de Victoria de Actividad " en negrita.
Por ejemplo, si crees que tu oponente está haciendo una solicitud injusta y que no merece la victoria en la actividad, puedes presentar tu propia solicitud o citar su publicación y explicar por qué no la merece. Debes intentar publicar tus solicitudes de victoria al menos 24 horas antes de la fecha límite para que tu oponente tenga una oportunidad razonable de impugnarla con la suya.
En caso de desconexiones, si jugaste en el servidor SmogTours, llama a un Director de Torneo lo antes posible y veremos la posibilidad de tener una revancha.
Premio
Este año, además del trofeo, el ganador recibirá un avatar personalizado o un nombre de usuario inactivo en PS!, cortesía del equipo de administración de PS!. El segundo puesto podrá optar a la opción que no elija el ganador. ¡Se entregará un premio en efectivo al ganador de esta banda sonora, cortesía de chaos! Si te interesa donar para el fondo de premios de la banda sonora, contacta con un director del torneo.

Welcome to the twenty second edition of one of Smogon's longest standing traditions, the Official Smogon Tournament! The format is as simple as it is classic - a winner-takes-all best of three in the current generation of our OverUsed format. The winner receives the golden trophy:!
Players will be picked randomly against one another for as many rounds as it takes to find one final champion. As usual, replays will be mandatory starting in Round 2! Make sure you save them and post them when you claim your victory starting in the second round, though you're also encouraged to save your Round 1 replays in the case of any dispute.

- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
- Team Preview: Players must turn on the Team Preview feature where players can view the opposing team's Pokémon and choose their lead Pokémon.
- Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.

- Baton Pass Clause: The move Baton Pass is banned outright.
- Uber Clause: Players may not use any items, moves, abilities, or Pokemon that appear on Smogon's OU Ban List. If the tiers change or new items, abilities, moves, or Pokemon become available in the middle of a round, the changes will take effect in the following round. There will be an announcement during the relevant round if this occurs.
About Activity Decisions
Activity Decisions / Coin Flips: In the event that there is an uncompleted match at the deadline, it will be coin flipped unless one or both of the players involved in the match specifically request an activity win and explain sufficiently why they deserve to win over their opponent. Attempting to schedule a battle is required in order to receive the win by activity. To make it clear that you are requesting an activity win when you post, you should open your post with "Activity Win Request" in bold.
For example, if you believe your opponent is making an unfair request and that they don't deserve the activity win over you, you can either make your own request or quote their post and explain why they don't deserve it. You should try to make your activity win request posts at least 24 hours before the deadline to give your opponent a reasonable opportunity to contest it with their own activity win request.
In case of disconnections, if you played in the SmogTours server, call a Tournament Director as soon as possible and we'll see about the possibility of having a rematch.
Prize
This year, in addition to the trophy, the winner will receive their choice of a custom avatar or claiming an inactive username on PS!, courtesy of the PS! Admin team. The runner up will be allowed whichever option the winner does not select. There will be a cash prize awarded to the winner of this OST, courtesy of chaos! If you're interested in donating towards the prize pool for OST, please contact a Tournament Director.
These signups will be open for about 2 weeks, though we may cut them short if it's deemed necessary. To sign up, reply to this thread with "in".
