AITA for not feeding my lobsters

recently i started working in the seafood department of a grocery store and i've noticed that the lobsters don't get fed ever

i've brought this up with my manager and he was like "it's fine lol they don't need to be fed" but sometimes when i look over i notice them fighting and trying to flip each other over so they can eat each other alive. i brought this up with some of my friends and they were really encouraging me to feed them because it's "inhumane" and "starving them"

personally i don't really want to risk my job by feeding them and plus they can always just kill each other if they get hungry enough. AITA?

You should sneak in more lobsters as "food". Chances are they don't eat each other and you have more lobsters to sell. Great success

Techincally, you are not the asshole. I would recommend doing research online and looking up proper store procedure first before feeding them. If store procedure is to not feed them then you can choose to not feed them and thats fine!

If you feel like you must feed them because lobsters are a part of God's beautiful choir too then I would recommend looking up what they eat in captivity. You may purchase some feed and discretely feed them. You can also just feed them out in the open. Who cares?

i was thinking of charging extra for the lobsters that successfully cannibalize each other since theres more lobster per lobster. they can be put in their own premium tank separate from all the loser lobsters

AITA for not feeding teh’s lobsters. i work at the same grocery and i have been stealing the lobster food every day because i have poor self control and like snacking. resulting in the lobsters never getting fed.
