Slow and dopey, Sheldon chugs along at his own pace. He has a sturdy body, so if he was attacked, he probably wouldn't even notice. He is often caught staring blankly into space.

Changes Upon Evolving:
One day, Sheldon was sitting at the beach, staring off into space with his usual blank expression when a Shellder flipped out of the water and chomped down hard on his tail, triggering his sudden evolution! Sheldon can now sit up straight, but he still finds it difficult to focus on what's in front of him. His intelligence seems to have increased a little bit, though. Just a bit. Sheldon's body is sturdier than it was as a Slowpoke and can now launch stronger Psychic and Water attacks.

How They Met:
Sheldon's original trainer was one of Doduodrio's friends who traded him in the hopes of evolving him. Unfortunately, before the trade happened, Sheldon managed to lose his King's Rock, and couldn't evolve into Slowking. Because he was a traded Pokemon, Sheldon is one of Doduodrio's strongest team members. His original trainer insists that he doesn't want to trade back for Sheldon, so Doduodrio has been raising him ever since.

Sheldon has "Shel" in it which references Slowbro's category, the "Hermit Crab" Pokemon.

Ritz hails from an alternate reality and was brought to this timeline by Oona. In their timeline, Ritz was an android Pokemon built for short- and long-ranged combat. However, Ritz's true purpose ultimately led them to seek out their siblings, scattered across time. Ritz is rather strong-willed, refusing to back down until they get what they want, and they are always taking in information in order to improve their understanding of the world. Their mechanical body also allows them to move swiftly and smoothly in battle, flowing from one stance to the next while keeping their opponent at bay. Nobody knows this, but Ritz's body was originally only white and black. Ritz chose to paint green highlights onto themself because they despised their boring exterior.

How They Met:
Deep inside Oona's lab in Doduodrio's basement, Oona was working on a special portal. Supposedly, this would allow Oona to travel to the Fairy dimension and gain unimaginable powers. When she fired it up though, Ritz emerged. Apparently, the portal led to a different timeline instead of another dimension. This was no coincidence though. Valerie and her brother Llednar both sensed the arrival of Ritz and went to go meet them. With the trio complete, the powers of past, present, and future were unlocked in all three of them, and their powers became stronger than ever.

Shadow enjoys hiding in the shadows of other people, mimicking their movements until they notice. Or, if they don't notice, he'll spring out with a giant grin to get a scare out of them. He is by nature very jolly and always takes advantage of his ghostly abilities to sneak around for maximum mayhem.

How They Met:
While walking around his home, Doduodrio kept having a feeling that he was being watched. It is said that when you feel like someone is watching you, it's just a Haunter. As it turned out, it was just Shadow as a Haunter who wanted to evolve into Gengar. However, Haunter evolves by trading, which Shadow couldn't do alone. So, Doduodrio connected with a friend, and traded Shadow so that he could evolve. After Shadow was traded back, he joined the team!

Name Origins:
The "shadow" self in Jungian psychology is the dark part of the consciousness that the self does not wish to confront.

Ritz hails from an alternate reality and was brought to this timeline by Oona. In their timeline, Ritz was an android Pokemon built for short- and long-ranged combat. However, Ritz's true purpose ultimately led them to seek out their siblings, scattered across time. Ritz is rather strong-willed, refusing to back down until they get what they want, and they are always taking in information in order to improve their understanding of the world. Their mechanical body also allows them to move swiftly and smoothly in battle, flowing from one stance to the next while keeping their opponent at bay. Nobody knows this, but Ritz's body was originally only white and black. Ritz chose to paint green highlights onto themself because they despised their boring exterior.

How They Met:
Deep inside Oona's lab in Doduodrio's basement, Oona was working on a special portal. Supposedly, this would allow Oona to travel to the Fairy dimension and gain unimaginable powers. When she fired it up though, Ritz emerged. Apparently, the portal led to a different timeline instead of another dimension. This was no coincidence though. Valerie and her brother Llednar both sensed the arrival of Ritz and went to go meet them. With the trio complete, the powers of past, present, and future were unlocked in all three of them, and their powers became stronger than ever.

How They Met:

Leila has the odd ability to slightly influence the probability of certain outcomes, tilting things in her favor at the expense of others. However according to her, she can't control this ability. (Nobody knows if this is true or not, though.) On the outside, Leila appears to be rather calm and serious, but she actually worries a lot about all of the different ways things can go wrong. She doesn't like to tell people this though, since she feels like it reinforces the feeling of being out of control.

Changes Upon Mega Evolving:
After taking down some berserk Pokémon under the control of evil Team Flare, the bond between Leila and Duo grew so strong that she became able to Mega Evolve! In her Mega Evolved form, Leila is much more powerful, and it almost seems as if she's flying when she leaps with her wing-like fur. In this form, she is also able to project an intimidating aura to strike fear into her enemies. Absol typically prefer to avoid fights, but Leila seems to enjoy the power this new form brings.

How They Met:
Leila sometimes likes to watch battles from the sidelines, and her presence sometimes causes slight fluctuations in the battle's results. Sometimes the impact is slight, resulting in a Pokemon briefly losing focus and missing a move. Other times, it can have a huge impact, severely disadvantaging one team and drastically changing the course of the battle. At some point, Leila decided she wanted to try her hand at battling herself, so she joined Doduodrio's team.

How They Met:
Due to a strange rift in time, Vespa was ripped from ancient Hisui straight into the modern day. Although initially confused, she was taken in by some of Doduodrio's team members and quickly made friends with Sang who was also originally from Hisui.

Julie the Togekiss and Node the Plasmanta were Butter's friends from the nursery where she was hatched and raised. Being around so many friends makes her super happy, so she wanted to stay with them!
