ANNOUNCEMENT

i really don't want to have 16 matchups end up no contest in a for fun tour so I will extend the deadline by 72 hours to feb 8 @ 4am utc

the iron emperors of the past would be extremely disappointed in me for my lenience but I'll accept their disappointment for now
try to make it happen with the extra 72 though please knife fighters
 
I'm still going to claim my win here bc this was deadline and I went through all the effort of staying up to check the like counts at DL >:T Also there hasn't been a new vote in like two days I think

a fairy and I agreed on 1 point for a Like, 2 for a Love. The two people who gave sad reacts indicated that they liked the dog so I'm going to count those as likes. That puts af's dog at 21 points and mine at 22. I foolishly did not expect so many people to like both dogs, which in retrospect seems like an inevitability.

teh suggested that we see who gets the most likes I believe i have since the week was put up.

we couldn't decide on a good way to test so if this isn't good we'll do coin flip
 
Despite monumental levels of Johning including from our incompetent but well meaning host R1 has now concluded.

Most of you went for pokemon formats where luck was the main factor (just like the normal formats!), but I guess I respect the fact that pokemon is the weapon of choice on a pokemon forum. there were a few pretty high effort competitions in there, shoutout Magic Mayhem Maiden for the fully edited smash game

fiish and olivia only made it 28.5% of the way through the best of 7 but because fiish lost both it goes olivia's way

I wrote a script to generate a number between 0 and 1 million until we got one that exactly matches one of their user ids.
after 345331 attempts the script generated frogfacts' user id

I was promised some bugs but I see none. showdown /pick command chose uppa
uppa caught the bigger bug but it wasn't in the thread

seems like chimp successfully defeated the assassin so goes to chimp

those 3 extra days did little to prevent johning so next round will be no Johns as well and I will probably actually enforce it this time so lock in knife fighters.

shadowpea  vs  Audio Peel - shadowpea no longer has the reacting to literally every single post aura, Audio Peel is in better form stabbing someone without a name
olivia  vs  phoopes - I would have said the one person to stab phoopes is the Bellibolt saleswoman, but they johned so there's literally no way phoopes is losing
Jumpheart vs Peum - imagine getting subbed lmao

also the next person to post in the thread loses their match
