- This will be a NO JOHNS, SWISS TOURNAMENT into a final single elimination bracket. Each round will last for only 3 days.
- The number of rounds is determined by the total number of participants. The format is as follows:
Total Participants: Under 16 Players
- 4 Swiss Rounds
- Final Cut: Top 4
- 5 Swiss Rounds
- Final Cut: Top 4/Top 8
- 6 Swiss Rounds
- Final Cut: Top 8/Top 16
- 7 Swiss Rounds
- Final Cut: X-2 Record or Better
- 8 Swiss Rounds
- Final Cut: X-2 Record or Better
- 9 Swiss Rounds
- Final Cut: X-3 Record or Better
- The format being played is [Champions] VGC 2026 Reg M
- The winner of the tournament will receive 5000 react score (ty goldmason)
- Each round is Best-of-3 with open teamsheets
- REPLAYS ARE ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY AND I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU DONT PROVIDE THEM
- We suggest to play your matches on Pokémon Showdown!, but playing on cartridge is allowed as long as both players agree and replays are provided.
- Replays are required for all matches. If neither player posts replays of the match, both players will suffer an automatic game loss. (If you were in losers' when you played, you are both out. If you were in winners', the winner is in losers' and the loser is out.)
- Do not sign up with more than one account, as it is not only considered cheating but also because it goes against Smogon’s rules to create more than one account.
- Do not cheat. Cheating will result in a disqualification and additional punishments may be applied if deemed necessary.
- Cheating includes, but is not limited.
- Ghosting or being ghosted by another player
- Forcing deadgames and activity wins
- Team Lock Clause: Players must use the same team for all battles of a given Bo3. You can switch teams in between rounds, however.
- Item Clause: Players cannot have two of the same item on the same team.
- Species Clause: Players cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on the same team.
- Matches will be played at level 50.
