Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • This tournament is to be played in the [Gen 8] 2v2 Doubles.
  • Best of five, single elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Replays are required.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts; get in contact with your opponent and report missed times / scheduling issues only.

Week 1 predicts - probably not cursed!

Knuckstrike (1) vs Lugia_numair (16) - FIREEEE is one of the best 2v2 tour players ever, and has recently picked up SS - they should take this with good prep

RobDog747 (2) vs Cilleralex (15) - This match could go either way. Happy to see new blood in the 2v2 scene, but Cilleralex has my vote for this round

papiloco (3) vs Monsareeasy (14) - Papilogoat, this is an hl match and could go either way - expecting this to be close

Vrji (4) vs Mishimono (13) - Vrji will have to work hard to beat mish, but it can happen, if Vrji finds time to prep in their busy schedule

Grandmaster7890 (5) vs ANoobWithoutAName (12) - More new players - I hope both of you have fun ^~^

Phantomistix (6) vs Chris32156 (11) - Phantomistix has been learning SS for a bit, knows the meta pretty well

Try Hard Train (7) vs StitChuu (10) - StitChuu Win or I call you unviable <3

osdavison (8) vs London13 (9) - London is also one of the greatest 2v2 players of all time, and I don't expect he'll stop here
