    I peeked in on the convo. The reason why it does this is because the person that produced the egg had a shiny spread, but the person or people that recieved the egg have a different SID, so it will not stay shiny. The person that produced the egg must hatch it on their game to get it to actually stay shiny.

    I know, its happen to me when I hacted my shiny rng on my diamond.
    It give him the shiny egg because he want a specif hatch location

    Sorry for the wait and having to go get an extra Poke. I forgot I needed to have an extra with me.

    Also, according to the rules, do the eggs only need a hatch date of 04/04/10, or do I need to wait until the real date rolls around. In other words, can I set my DS date foward, and hatch them now?
